What are some differences between USFS and ISU adult skating competitions.

- Hello Skaters,
I had a few people ask me to do a video on the differences between USFS and ISU adult competitions. This isn’t everything but I tried to cover some of the biggest differences. Make sure to read the current rules before competing. If I didn’t cover something you were wondering about message me. :) I am going to ISU Nashville in October. I will do some videos on my journey to that event.

So when I moved to Canada from the states(my husband is from Canada) I was fortunate to inherit a few kids from a coach that was moving away. To make the story short, first competition: SHOCKED!!! None of my kids, or any of the other kids for that matter, had make up done, or clean skates. From the time I was little, ANY competition, every child, teen, adult had their “Sunday best” clean skates, some makeup on and off ice. So when you were talking about Canadian judges and makeup, it hit a note with me. It’s changed a bit since I came here over 30 years ago. The kids are wearing some makeup, but back then, boy it was a shock coming from the US skating community to the Canadian community. 😊
🆘 Where can i find your videos focusing on adult skating? I watched your video about crossovers, and your video on three turns. I even went to your channel, but couldn't find more adult focused videos. Where is your video on the waltz jump?
