The receivers haven’t been on the same page when Russ moves(aka move to an open spot in the zone) and then Russ tries to do to much when no one is open( red zone pick ) . James Palmer clearly doesn’t like Russ as a QB and you can hear when he praises him. Its filled with backhanded compliments and slights lol
I don't want to see Russ get an extension because I'm scared of ending up right back into the situation of the Steelers trying to extend a SB window with an aging qb.
Hear me out... Pittsburgh signs russ to a 3 year deal and fields to a 4 year deal as a number 2 with the plan of fields sitting behind russ and learning to be the eventual starter when its russ's time to leave!
