- funny story: i bought the book, read the whole thing, recorded this vlog and edited it back in may when the book was actually popular because i didn't want to be late for the party... and then i never published it until now, 3 months later, when no-one's talking about it anymore which makes me... late for the party. ugh.

Perfect timing, I just finished this book 2 hours ago! Had the same prediction and hope for the ending as you and felt your disappointment there! I’ll rate this a 3.5 stars too, but probably round it up to 4 because it was a very entertaining and fast read and cought me on an emotional day 😊
I'm glad I wasn't the only one being disappointed by the way the story turned out!
I just finished this book yesterday, and I also don't love it, nor hate it. Something was missing there... And Harriet was kind of annoying. And the ending also did not work for me....
