I hope we reach a day when history months are done away with. Time to start celebrating an individual rather than someone who is part of a group. And as far as I can tell, ever since 2020, every month has been black history month. Racism will always exist with those who are truly racist at the core. For those of us who have always treated people based on human traits rather than skin color, the continual highlighting of someone's race is counter- productive.
