Matt Ryan wasn't garbage his last year with the Falcons. Pitts had 1000 yards and Patterson had 11 touchdowns and 1000 yards between rushing and receiving. Julio left that off-season and Ridley only played like 5 games that season. Our team was terrible and Ryan dragged us to 7 wins; he was literally the only bright spot.
Facts, he developed an INT problem later in his career but still played above average until he left for Indy. Pitts showed what he could do with above average play, imagine what he’ll do with Kirk while he arguably having the best few years of his career.
I stand corrected. My comment was misdirected and should have only been talking about his time with Indy. I loved Matty ice in his prime and I’m not even a falcons fan.
@@TheSethFloydShow Matty was a great player and the best Falcons all time with Julio right behind him. Fun fact Matt Ryan's first and last career pass attempts as a Falcon both went for touchdowns. Great show by the way, enjoying the content.
@jamquick5298 Matt Ryan also is one of the more underrated fantasy QBs of all time, I won a championship with him a while back. And thank you man! Share the channel with your friends and share it with your enemies 😂😂 just trying to build an audience and have fun while doing it!
This has probably been the most excited falcons fans have been in a while and rightfully so. As a 49ers fan this has been the longest offseason for all the wrong reasons 😂😂
I appreciate it brotha! Just trying to grind away and have fun doing it. Haha I’m here for it, if it’s not my 49ers then I can get behind a falcons Super Bowl!
Those are the bold kinda takes I’m here for! Regardless I think Michael Pennix and those weapons should be killing NFC teams for years to come. And don’t sleep on my boy Kirk cousins. It could be a really fun year for ATL. Hit that subscribe button for more if you haven’t already!
A lot of ppl are saying Pennix is so old but in reality he’s not beating his body up and could possibly have those couple of years on the back end of his career
Yeah he’s older but that experience he’s got is gonna be huge for him. Look at Brock purdy, he’s been successful partly cause all the games he played in college. If Penix is good he’s gonna be your guy for 10-12 years. He’s only 24 he’s not like Brandon weeded who was 28 when he was drafted
I think they are an ascending team, and the core along with new head coach Raheem morris should give you optimism even if they don’t finish the job the year. Regardless yall should be division champs and hosting a playoff game which is big time! Hit that subscribe for more content coming your way!
Well as a SF fan I love to hear that 😂😂 and while I agree I think this time next year going into the 2025 season I think people will view the falcons as a legit threat to represent the NFC in the superbowl.
Would have been electric. The fall of Ridley is one of the most head scratching / disappointing things to happen in the NFL in the last 10 years… as far as performance on the field goes anyway.
I think there’s something to that. It’s probably not a one size fits all approach, I think there are some guys that can step in and play right away HOWEVER, you’ll never make a guy worse because he sat a couple years… he will just ball out when it’s finally his time. But you can ruin a guys development by throwing him in too early.
Good move i think most people really dont like it because of jis injury history... I believe if no injury history he would off went to giants. 2nd in Heisman votes Almost won national chip. But he could learn more inside game
He’s not a perfect prospect but he elevated that Washington program and in that Texas game he looked like a top 10 pick. So the kids no joke, but just like you said he needs to be healthy and learn from the new OC
I'm gonna be frank. I'm from Cali, I hate the Niners, have been a Falcon since 1996. Thanks for the video, but DON"T you ever in your life again call Ice hot garbage. Thanks for coming to my TED Talk
😂😂 fair call out. Was a little harsh on my end, but it was not good at the end of his career especially in Indy but point taken. Glad to see falcons fans hold a certain reverence for his name still.
I say in the video I really didn’t like it. I liked Penix but the pick didn’t make sense. But as I’ve thought about it I’ve come around to it’s actually really smart as long as Penix turns out to be a dude, which I feel pretty good about him so far.
I appreciate the comment. I’ll continue to apologize to Atlanta fans who defend their own. Hot garbage was definitely not the right way to describe him in his final year in ATL and I’ll own that. I need a better filter on my mouth probably.
Did Arthur Smith misuse Pitts his rookie year when he went to the pro bowl and almost broke the record for rookie tight ends? Pitt's only problem was the QB sucked the last two years, not coaching.
IMO Arthur was obsessed with spreading the ball around instead of getting the ball to his playmakers. You’re 100% right that QB play didnt help. But Johnnu smith should never have gotten the touches he did with Kyle Pitts there. Same with algier and bijaan. I’m a big algier fan but bijaan was crazy misused as well. Just my opinion.
@@TheSethFloydShowPitt is a TE in a big receivers body. Teams don't want to pay him so they call him a te! He would be better than London as a outside receiver. They have to "think outside the box!"😮
Can we get a video on your fantasy football takes? Who to take early, late round sleepers, who to avoid, how early to take a QB, etc. With the new kickoff rule, I'm interested to see the average round of defense/special teams in drafts.
Definitely a popular take most people hated it. Who did you want them to take instead? It looks bad now, but 3 years from now if penix is balling people will look back and say that’s one of the best decisions they ever made.

I’m a big Kirk cousins guy, if you get two years of Kirk just balling then Falcons fans should be excited.
I’ve always wondered what a Ridley / London combination would look like😢
Would have been electric. The fall of Ridley is one of the most head scratching / disappointing things to happen in the NFL in the last 10 years… as far as performance on the field goes anyway.
The actual way QBs should be treated is to sit a least 1 to 3 years. Aaron Rodgers, Jordan love.

Whats the over/under games started by Kirk this year?
2.5
