I just discovered your page a few days ago and I was immediately hooked! Spent the last few days on a marathon of watching your beautiful videos, listening to your narrations, while drinking coffee beside a fire in Alberta, Canada. I love the organic feel of your videos, the beauty of the land and the elements, the comforting rhythm of the changes of the seasons. Earth, wind, air and fire in perpetual motion - I love how your videos connect us to your words and pictures in such a soulful way. Your love for life and land, your attention to light and colour and your openness to experiences and people is truly inspirational. We aren't all like that as adults, so watching your videos bring smiles, good feelings and yearnings to reconnect to the things we love.
Thank you for sharing so much beauty and vulnerability!

It's so nice that those little towns keep the Christmas lights up. That really ads to the winter charm. Makes me miss New England winters, a little bit.

We love Vermont as we stayed in a nice cozy cabin at Sterling Ridge east of Jeffersonville, north of Stowe. A nice fire in the woodstove, the snapping of the birch wood and the smells. Vermont coffee is good, the fresh air, the sounds of the birds all, this is Vermont! As the locals there would say, "Vermont To The Core".

OK........Now you brought me to tears. I wanted to type this last night after viewing your video and reading your comment, on my comment, about your sweet dog, but I couldn't do it, so today is the day. First of all, the beauty in this video of your Valentine's Day weekend with Ally, was so special and I loved it all. I actually watched it a second time, and again with tears. I love your videography and your soothing voice explaining everything. You have a heart that goes so deeply into things around you and I think that is so special. I fell in love with your channel after seeing the first video. My life as a child and young adult was in an area with all sorts of beauty like that and I loved hiking through the woods, walking on the old railroad bed and just being out in nature. Back then we did not have cross country skis, just our Flexible Flyers to go sledding. My son has my sled from childhood and uses it for Christmas decoration on his front porch, Anyway, I never want to say things that hurt you, like commenting on your dog and not your filming, but I am an animal lover and it is difficult not to love him and not say something. I was teasing you about having food for him in that one video, of course you did. You film from the very depths of your heart and soul and you take me back to things I knew as a child and you take me places I have always dreamed of seeing but will never get to see except through your eyes. Sorry, this is so long, but I wanted you to know that I did not want to hurt your feelings. 💜

Being born and raised in MN and thus gone thru a fair number of winters growing up, I thought I had had enough winters in my lifetime and would never miss it, now living in warmer climes for 30 + yrs. After watching your fall and winter videos, they have really struck a nostalgia and a yearning to actually experience a true winter again - nothing like the cold air in your lungs, frolicking in snow, x-country skiing or snowshoeing, ice fishing and a good ole game of boot hockey with the boys. Thanks for the creative videos.

Went to Vermont twice. Once in the summer and once in the fall. Loved it. I live in Pennsylvania so we have mountains as well and I love going to the mountains here but something about Vermont and New Hampshire’s mountains that inspires me. So cool. Went to Stowe as well and bought the best Vermont cheddar cheese that I’ve ever eaten!! No lie. I shared some with my then Mother in law. When she found out how much I paid for it she flipped out. She was like that’s way too much to pay for cheese. Then she tasted it.....thanked me profusely...visit Vermont if you get the chance. It’s a beautiful place. Love your videos! Your command of the camera is awesome and the music you put with the videos is absolutely perfect at capturing your feelings about where you are and what you’re experiencing at the given moment. Hats off to you for that. You have a genuine talent as well as the gift of story telling. Thanks for a wonderful experience!!!

Oh, to change someones perspective. To allow them to see something in a different way than they could have ever imagined. Life has a way of doing that to all of us. So glad you have been able to show Alley how there are times when the way in which you look at something can change with a simple change of perception. Sounds like she has been able to do that with you as well. Good to see a connection with someone special. Keep up the hard work, but take time to take a break an allow yourself to see a different perspective. An breathe deep, an take it all in. God is Great! Blessings to you both! Congrats, on a new connection.... Love her often an always with no regret! Damn good kid signing out.

Kyle, I urge you to locate a sugarhouse where they still boil with wood and collect sap in buckets, at least some of it. This would most likely be in Franklin County, Vermont. Arrange to go up with Ally and document the entire process from gathering, to boiling, to making sugar on snow (complete with pickles and doughnuts.) The boiling in the sugar house often happens through the night. It is a remarkably evocative, mythic process and is quickly being replaced by more industrialized techniques. It would be entirely over the top is you could find someone who still uses horses to collect the sap as well. You may also want to bring an extra person to help with the filming as it is a lot for any single person. Not impossible, but a lot.

Actually you will find the art of sap boiling all over the state of Vermont. Northern Vermont for sure. I would recommend Franklin, Lamoille, Caledonia, and of course the North East kingdom.
