- All the flashlights in the video came stock with another firmwares. I flashed them myself with Andúril. If you want to run Andúril on same lights you need to flash them yourself.

Just got an Emisar D4V2 Ti. My previous experience with a flashlight UI was: On/Off. So, a learning curve was to be expected. I also overestimated my ability to decipher the Anduril UI diagram. Thanks to your very clear instructions, the interface is becoming super intuitive. It’s amazing how many cool features are packed into the UI, and how much more fun I have walking the dog on the beach at night! 👍😎

Thanks for correction! So when you set ramping floor and ceiling you have 150 options to choose from. and those are not the corresponding PWM levels.

can you go straight to tactical strobe from "off" mode? in case you want to use it as defense against attacker

Yes. Double click and hold from off to enter strobe mode. Then doing double clicks will cycle through the strobe settings to tactical strobe. If you turn it off again, or even disconnect the battery, it remembers which strobe setting you left it on. So just double click and hold to activate tactical strobe

My light is probably in Muggle, and six clicks doesn't do anything. ...then, it goes into a blink mode... 3 blinks, pause....repeat. ??? Factory reset, doesn't appear to do anything either. ???

Hello, how are you? I have a Blf Q8, and it's changing the modes from clik to clik, I wanted to go back to the ramp mode and not being able to, could you help me?
Lightning Storm can be sped up and slowed down
Only the strobes and candle mode you can adjust. Some of them you can adjust speed and some of them you can adjust brightness. But Lightning is fixed. My latest Anduril is a few month old so maybe if there is a newer update it can adjust but mines not 😉 I just tried my latest. In this video this is an old Anduril I show.
In beacon mode, can you adjust the intensity of the light? Also, in bike flasher mode, can you adjust both intensity and speed/interval of flashing?

It depends a bit on the flashlight how do you exactly connecting the flasher to the MCU but if you ask anything in the linked thread somebody always have an answer.

Hi, how to do a factory reset on edc18?
Untwist half turn the tailcap. And hold the button while tighten it. Keep holding until the leds flashing a few . It took about 10 seconds completely. But it only works if the EDC18 has a not so old Anduril version. I don't have EDC18 so I don't know if it has the reset feature.
I think if you set ceiling ramp on max you will get turbo on dubble click from off?
Yes. But I like to set ceiling below turbo where the light doesn't heat up fast. Sorry for not saying that clear.
When set to stepped mode, Double click from off gives you your ceiling set output... double click when on jumps to full turbo output.
So, yes, if you set full output as the ceiling then you can get there from off in two clicks, but why not just leave it in ramp mode then?
The purpose in my mind for stepped mode is to dumb the light down a bit and be able to access useable medium levels of output more quickly.

It can be probably a faulty 7135 regulator or a FET. So the driver need a repair.

Where did you get the MCPCB with aux led for the D4? I would love to add this to my D4. And another question. I somehow managed to set the beacon mode on my FW3A to a very low brightness level and don't know how I did this. The cheat sheet doesnt tell how to configure this
The D4S has stock aux leds. In the D4 I just run up 2 wires and soldered one led on them. No aux led pcb. The beacon level is the same as your last memorized level. So if you want higher beacon turn on the light. Ramp up higher. Torn off and then turn in to beacon again.
@@ZozzlightsRC this means it would be an easy task to add aux to the FW3A since it is already running anduril? No additional firmware flashing required?
@@oxdudepoege I don't have FW3A. And I don't know if it has a firmware enabled aux led output. I think you need to ask Toykeeper on BLF. Maybe she knows what version Lumintop has.
@@ZozzlightsRC what was necessary to make the aux work on the D4. No additional hardware then two pieces of wire and the led itself? Do you have a video on how and where it is soldered to?
@@oxdudepoege The original D4 firmware doesn't control aux led. So disassemble, two wires, a led, a resistor to setup led brightness. And of course suitableAndúril firmware flashing. The driver is very tricky to get out from a D4. It is glued in and first you need to desolder led wires and press it out from leds with something. It is easy to damage the driver with the removing so do this at your own risk. I don't have a video. You need a ground to the aux led and there is an empty soldering point newt to one of the switch wire close to Atmel.
