Sebastian: Glad you got the wheel motor seal leaks fixed. Hope you add pressure filtration for the hyd oil. I see you bent the boom cylinder hardlines. I reversed this cylinder so the hose connections are between the cylinder and the boom and much better protected. Also, the pivot point on the ROPS is correct and works well, in my experience, folding forward.
Just sold a new XN 0.8 machine and ignition was stuck contacted Lucy at the factory and she sent one air freight. Their bigger machines are very good and the quality is on par with the over priced Yanmar, Kubota etc.at a very reasonable price. All quality components. We had four XN 1.5 in our hire fleet one left we sell them into the second hand market afterwards all done murderous 1000 hours and no problems. Only bucket pins and bushes at about 500 hours. The brand name bushes and pins also only last that long and cost and arm and a leg. We have sold this year 3 XN 1.5, 3 XN 2, 1 XN 1.8, 1 XN 8-E and XN 0.8 all our customers are totally happy.
Hello, I've just found out about these and i see your comment. I'm in Germany and i admit youf the first person I've contacted regarding this subject but I'm a big of a geek so ilk be be watching everything. I may be interest in a second hand machine. Pls would you give me a direct e-mail account.
My xn10 motor ran away on me on a lousy 100 hours. It leaked like a sieve from the decompression lever. Smoked like hell for a while before it ran away on me. At one job the fumes were so bad I got smoked and chucked my guts up. That was a Chang chai engine. Put a koop engine in and it’s much better.
Your a legend for putting these up mate. Iv got the XN10 model and the Chang chai motor in it hand grenade on me so the dealer put a Koop motor on it. Well I put it in and he gave it to me for half price. I just did a track seal and your video has saved me, I know exactly what size seal to get for it now. My feed back is check all your bolts often. Especially on your slew motor. I blew the o ring on it cos surprise surprise half the bolts were finger tight. Blew the o ring on the post hole digger that come with it, same problem, loose bolts. Never had electrical issues surprisingly. It’s a great machine for its size! Parts are cheap and it’s not scary to work on like other brands.
On mine I pick up one side with a bucket an the blade down lifting machine onto one track. Put one side on the sprocket. And use a 3 ft bar to pull the teeth of the track over the travel wheel. While pulling advance the the track with machine and boom track on. Reverse that to get it off. Hope this helps.
Re-mounting track is now down to 5 minutes with a 5 foot bar. The trick is to coax the slave wheel back in as you pull against the track. Having an wxtra someone on the machine is a must
Would you purchase this same brand again? I’m looking to purchase a Chinese mini digger. Haven’t decided which model to get. I’d appreciate any input /tips. Tia
Had our one run out of diesel. Managed to get the diesel line cleared and running again sweetly. However hydraulics worked for 2 mins and now nothing. Still plenty of hydraulic fluid. Slowly trying to figure out issues. Anyone else had this problem? Or know what it might be?
Hi Sebastian wondered if you could help please. I have damaged a hose for the boom cylinder so need to replace it. Just stripped the machine down to get to the hose and thought while it was stripped down I would replace the hydraulic filter before topping it back up. I can't seem to see where the hydraulic filter is, can you help? thank you
Hi all can anyone help I am wanting to drain and change the hydraulic oil but can't seem to see where to drain, the tank, fill it up or where the filter is ( engine oil was simple but lost on the hydraulic system). thank you Keith
Mine has just done 160 hours, no problems until today, it threw a track. I have to try and find a tutorial on how to get the track back on. Can anyone help?
The tracks are held under tension with a large spring which can be slackened through square hole half way along. It is easier to use a 5 foot steel bar and lever the track back on slave wheel.
@@binmanblog hi there Steve. It was a battle but with help I got it on. The secret is to put it on the front idler first then wind it on with the drive with a bar and swear words. Two man job. The most important tool is the swear words.
I met the 1.8t version of this the other day at a training place to renew my VOC. Oh boy, stalling out, has a governed speed rather than a throttle (no control), no pilot controls, (but I never even got to try anyway). I saw the $10 electric fuel pump and the pathetic no name hydraulic pump with the coupler thats bigger than the pump. Stalling, wasn't sure why and wasn't given enough time to have a proper look, Sad pile of Chinese scrap metal with 180hrs. Not really much cheaper at the end of the day after all the extra no doubt, unadvertised costs to import to Australia $18,000 AU.
Great review I have the same with only 6 hours and I have dug out 6 trees with it and I’m happy
Thanks
Ta mate. Good to have some input before looking.

Thanks for the review. Can you provide the link to where you bought it from? I’m afraid of getting scammed by buying it from the wrong place.
Awesome job on reviewing this excavator, keep it up!

Please can you do a video on chaging / re-mounting a track. It took me 2 hours.
