Ugh the violation of a burglary is the worst feeling. At least you're moving on! This happened to me in a house and EVERY time I came home after that I had a sick feeling. So "Why don't I just live in a house somewhere" isn't necessarily the solution. Love you all. Glad you're safe.
Totally agree. This happened to me too - my childhood home was broken into (and it's in a "safe suburb").
I am so sorry ☹️ The fact that your one focus is hoping that they aren't thrown away and are instead put to good use...such a kind spirited positive outlook to have. It doesn't make the situation any less crappy, but you handled it better than I. 💛
just be grateful that when the RV had to be deserted on the freeway, no one broke in! I'm really sorry about your car but these things happen s frequently in big cities. Im not even surprised at this point!
car robbery is common in NYC especially if the license plate is not from new york. Devastated that it happens to good people like you guys :(
thisisthania it's so true though. I'm from NJ and we had distant family visit from Oklahoma and they insisted on driving into NYC instead of taking NJ Transit and they're car got broken in on their day trip too

Yeah, I have never taken my personal vehicle into NYC. Either take a company vehicle or a rental car. Makes it a lot easier to drive just like cabbies when it's not your vehicle!

When you move to New York you have a honeymoon period where everything is magical, and then reality sets in and it gets really hard really quick. Vans like yours typically are used by businesses around here, they might have thought they would break in and find lots of expensive equipment.

Knorpp and South - don't ever leave anything in your vehicle. I grew up in Latin America, and that's where I learned not to ever leave anything in the vehicle.
sweetcanada17 i agree with you. I am from France and nobody leaves anything visible in their car in Paris.just too "tempting". I also lived in the UK and Germany and the same thing is true to big cities in general. Smaller cities and country side are much "safer" in this respect in all 3 countries but one should always be mindful..

In Chicago we always hide personal items in the glove box or center console and remove everything of value from our vehicle before we park it and leave it. Unfortunately having a car break-in can be a great learning experience and one that forces you to think about safety and your actions a bit more. So glad nobody was hurt or more damage done to your vehicle. Be safe-

Years ago my husband's truck was broken into and they stole his bible and Christian CD's. I hope they learned something.

We live on the road and have had things stolen off my husbands work truck and from our campsite while we were sleeping. I totally know how unsafe and violating it feels. I don't know why this happened to you but I'm glad you documented it and talk about the hard and crappy stuff. It's life and we all have to face it. I do know y'all face everything together and with the Lord before you. This means - so are always protected. 💛

Well I am thankful for you that no one was around when the van was burglarized! And that no more than a window was broken. Sorry about your oils & God will take care of you all💜 I love my oils. Especially my Frankensence. I had a brain tumor removed here in Dallas May 22nd & it is a great oil for tumor problems. Love my peppermint & all my fruity oils!

I'm so sorry you had to deal with this! My home was broken in to many years ago and I vividly remember the feeling of violation. They stole an antique stained glass window. It makes you feel so vulnerable. I hope you are able to move forward without too much fear! Love you guys!
I'm sorry! I can totally relate to the feeling of being intruded upon and unsafe. When my childhood home was broken into and things were stolen, it left such an eerie feeling. The first couple nights after the break-in I couldn't sleep because just the thought of strangers being able to break into my house during broad daylight and just the fact that strangers had been in my home and rummaged around was uncomfortable. I am so sorry this happened to you! We have had it happen overnight in our driveway and it is so hard to stay on track for the rest of the day. I remember feeling so violated, and so vulnerable. I'm so sorry about your window. It's frustrating that people steal just to steal and re sell stuff. I live by thinking Everything happens for a reason. Theres gotta to be a reason for this. I hope someone used your oils for good and not just trash. I am an oil lover too. The gps can be replaceable but it is still annoying. You all are living such an inspiring life. Thank you.
Never ever ever leave anything in the vehicle. Even the little ring on the windshield left by suction cups will prompt people to break in and look for a gps, electronics.
I am so sorry to see your car was vandalized. It is heartbreaking. A few years back we had our get away place broken into. It does shake your face in people for a bit and you are on edge. But you go on and are more cautious. God Bless.
Sorry to hear that your car was broken into. So was mine last week but the good news was they didn't steal my car! Yay. I was still able to drive to work. My window was repaired the same day because it was about to rain. And insurance paid for it. Daniel is so much more talkative and he took over the big brother responsibilities he also comments on all your videos now. I'm so happy for him! I hope you tell him! 🤗

I'm so sorry about the van! That's such an awful feeling. Unrelated: I don't know why, but I loved watching Daniel give out the seat assignments for the day! I knew he helped to organize that, but I don't know that I've ever seen it in action. Fascinating! And so efficient!

I am so sorry that your family is having to deal with all the damage and stress of having your property violated. Thankfully things can be replaced. I am sure you contacted the police which will help you with insurance and getting things fixed and possibly replaced. Hopefully a positive from all this is making sure things like the gps can be better stored or hidden when not in use and a routine of better ways of safeguarding your van and the contents.
I loved seeing Daniel blossom and his confidence growing as he steps up to help with the younger children and getting them into the van without a fuss. 🤗😢🤓🦋🦋
I feel your pain. *hugs* :( My car window got smashed in the public parking lot while I was at work a few years ago. They didn't get anything because they saw a cloth shopping bag and thought something was valuable in there too. It was just my working out clothes. I was so bummed, but ah well, nothing got taken. It was such an upsetting experience and even though I was glad I was not harmed, but it was still a yucky experience that sticks with you for awhile. I'm so sorry you had this experience. *HUGS AGAIN*

It hurts!!! It's sad 😭, and it bites!!! Megan, we actually live on a pretty safe street. Lots of neighbors that pay a lot of attention. Within two years, both my car and my husbands truck were broken into, during the day. But it definitely helps to see anything positive in a otherwise negative situation. 😔😢⛈🌊🌎⛅️🌤☀️🕊🌈❤️😊

We have an NV passenger van that was broken into as well and my purse was stolen. it was super violating and aggravating trying to get the window replaced. I'm so very sorry about your window and the oils! UGGGHHH!! Love my oils and that would have been super sad:(

I'm sorry this happened to you, I've had my vehicle broken into a couple of times, my house once too and I have to say... at least it wasn't your home and be grateful for that!
A couple years ago my dads truck window got broken because he left his gps out in the open at his work but to repair your window call safelite auto glass they repair on site.
Same for me. I have comprehensive add on my car insurance and safelite came out the next day and it was free. Thanks Allstate! ❤️

So sorry this happened to you guys. Even here in Nashville, a friend's vehicle was broken into overnight a year or two ago because they had a GPS out. And these days, that type of crime is becoming even more common down here. It's sad to know there are people desperate enough to do these types of things. Awww...I know exactly how you feel!!! Last year our house was broken into and even though we did lose so much (money, 4 lap tops, guns, all my jewelry which was not of much value but very sentimental to me), it was all the sentimental items that they took. They took a box that had my kids first hair cut clippings, baby teeth and the first mothers day necklace my son gave me. I think of it often and get that pit in your stomach feel. I was so sad and it all came flooding back when I saw and heard you talking. I'm so very sorry!!! Now, I feel like I'm paranoid and we have security at our house, and I still don't feel safe. Oh well, I can't take it when I die, but I felt the same as you....they will probably just toss it in the trash. :( :( :(

Former insurance agent. Even though we don't live anywhere near a city, we do not leave a single thing of any value in a car. People see even a bag and will break in in hopes there is something in it. Trailheads are also popular break in spot because they assume pocketbooks may be hidden in trunk. And if you are going to hide something in trunk, don't do it at same place you are leaving the car. Hide it before arriving. So sorry this happened to you. People are jerks.

I just wanna say you are such a strong and Loving person!!! After being robbed most people would be angry and might say hateful things, you get your oils stolen and you hope they serve as a blessing to someone else..
and maybe they will, maybe that person will discover the benefits that might change their lives..
just be safe as you and your family travel. not all places are family friendly and there are a lot of people who will take advantage of tourists!!!

I actually saw someone in my car in the middle of the night a few years back who had broken in and for the person who commits the crime against you it is not personal because they only see an object with no attachment to anyone. But you're right there's something so personal about it for the victims; Like a person has entered into your personal space without consent and left you open and vulnerable. I do remember feeling that way. Thankfully you heal pretty fast and it will likely strengthen you in the long run.
On a lighter note you are going to absolutely LOVE travelling in Europe!

Unfortunately bad things can happen no matter what. Your vehicle can get broken into while sitting in your driveway of your quiet suburban neighborhood. It's just the the demoralization of our society. The only way to combat it is by putting out your positive vibes not fear. Good will always triumphs.

Awe man, so sorry this happened. (I'm just catching up on your vlogs and I'm so bummed this happened!) I had a home invasion about 6 years ago and I never felt safe in that house again. Such a violation. You guys have an amazing attitude. So glad this wasn't a worse situation.
