"Do you hear that noise?" ... *the sound of trumpets echoed throughout the battlefield* ... "that's Yushaodo's warband, coming from the castle!" *a flashing of light emits from the group* "they did it, they defeated the last king 😮" ... "Yushaodo has been crowned the new Emperor!" 🎉❤
Wouldn't it be awesome if for Example a Summoner/Bard Archetype Mix could do some special "Bard-Buffs" solely for Summons of other Summoners ? Things like these could add nicely to the Build Diversity. And You could so such immensely much Stuff with it, without necessarily making any Stuff overpowered.
Pogosticks are great and all, but imagine if you got a sponsorship from TREES? They literally give us oxygen, and this episode was all about the most skilled ones at doing that. That's what "skilled trees" are, right?
I don't think anybody knows what the build diversity is yet. Because that would include balance, which hasn't been tested yet. Sure, you've got some alpha players and devs in there, but you don't get build diversity and balance until you get a massive amount of players all pouring over your stats for that extra 1% so they can claim to have the highest e-peen. People are going to find things that shouldn't work but do, little extra advantages etc. What we can say is..there's lots of stuff and you have plenty of options, but if half of them don't do 95% of the maximum, then people will never use them.
I think the number of players that this kind of thing appeals to and who are willing to put in the time to understand and master.... is miniscule. Each effort like this makes the game more and more niche, which is fine if Steven doesn't need revenue to keep the game running.
@@RyveGenesis Yes, for sure. And there are some players who enjoy that... but I simply don't feel that fits a modern gaming aesthetic anymore. That's why (in my opinion) it risks becoming more niche. I think these are systems of a bygone era, again just IMO. It's not going to bring the MMO genre to a whole new audience, is what I am saying. A new audience is not for the most part interested in this kind of investment.
they will most certainly get more complex over time, 200 skill points at level 50... and more branches that you can spend points on. Probably about 300 skill points worth of skills with 200 points to spend? BUTT I'd like to complain about your length of video, BIGGER is BETTER, everyone knows that. Stop teasing us with short vids :( BULLY us with that MASSIVE DROP, including getting the BASE (or Based) Sponsorship.

Very true, missed opportunity!

Cool!
As usual, the illusion of choice
Yeah, it often times is that way to be fair

I get that. But, also, a lot of MMO'S have complex builds

Build diversity is a myth. There is always a best build and it becomes the only build.
True
