Once again.....I am so amazed at your wonderful gift. I have to admit.....I could watch you paint all day long. The realism and color choices, the brush work....I really have to pull myself away, or I will never get anything done!! I hope you will continue sharing...Thank you!!
Olá boa tarde.Magnifico seu trabalho.Tira-me uma dúvida!Vc começa com a tinta acrilica e detalha no oleo é isso?Qual papel vc usa e como prepara-lo,é com o gêsso acrilico???desde já obrigado, fantastico seu trabalho!!!
Hello good afternoon.Magnifico your work.Take me a doubt! You start with the acrylic paint and details in the oil is that? What paper do you use and how to prepare it, is with the acrylic gesture ??? thanks in advance, fantastic your job!!!
Stunning work! I love drawing but I haven't had a chance to use colors, I am not sure what to choose .... buying acrylics or oils, or use both like you do, I am looking to achieve this realistic look on canvas. Could you make a comparison between the two about quality finishing please. Also can I use oil paint whiteout solvents?
Hey there! If you work with oils you will definitely need solvents, so if you don’t want to then you will probably like acrylics more. There are new water-soluble oil paints that might be a good option for you too, though I’ve never worked with them myself.
Do you need to start with acrylic paint before applying the oil paint? Or could you just start with oil paint? And also do you need to wait until the oil paint is dry so you can add more layers of the fur?
You can definitely start with oils, but I like to start with acrylics because it dries in less than an hour versus oils which can take days (even weeks) to dry!
I am new to painting wildlife and I am doing a face of a lion for our ministry and I am just trying to get the Lion's face to look realistic and I am using acrylic paint on a 8 by 11 canvas what are the best brushes to use
Sounds like a great project! I like to use filbert brushes for painting wildlife (any brand is fine), and always have at least one good liner brush for fur detail (I use a brush from Princeton, the aspen line). Hope that helps!

What size of paper are you using?

@@DanielleTrudeauStudios ok, thank you 🙂
Great tutorial....thank you! This has been very helpful to me. Could you tell me what colours you use to mix the golden glaze? Many thanks!
Glad you found it helpful!! I used Burnt Sienna for the glaze, it produces a lovely transparent rust tone
Love your fur videos, wish you could post one that isn't time lapsed
Thanks! It’s hard to post real-time videos to UA-cam (since the paintings take a long time) but I do post them to Patreon! 😊

What glazing do you use & do you use a liquin as well
I use Liquin for my glazes 😊
What colours did you use in this lion eye oil painting ?
This would take me about 10 hours to paint...and it would still look like a muddy mess.
Fabulous work.
Thanks! Practice makes progress! 😊
Plz help mem
I want to paint a statue of a lion. Help me?
Amazing I must say! Only..... you didnt say which colour you are using precisely! It could be very hard for begginers!
Oil on paper? How could it be? my canvas gets dry to slowly when I paint with oil.
I find that oil actually dries faster on paper!
@@DanielleTrudeauStudios Wow! Thank you for your art! It's really inspiring!
What a Pity You had it on Speed Painting one couldn't see much if what you were doing, however the ens was beautiful. Thank you.
Madam clear tel me color mixing
