Zero: X! X!... Ciel: X! X: Everyone...Thank you for everything...but now i put my fate to you all...even you as well zero...Farewell. Everyone: ROKKUMAN X!! Zero: X!! *MUSIC Starts*
Dr. Weil: You! You can't kill me, X! I am a Human being!!! X stares at Weil. Yes he was a human before. but now, wire and steel are grafted into his very body. X raises his arm, aiming his buster towards the human-turned-machine. X: You're nothing but a Maverick, Dr Weil! Even if I have to become one for the sake of others!
Man now you have me thinking how interesting of a fight this would've been had it been X instead of Zero. X a legendary maverick hunter who has always fought for peace for the sake of both reploids and humans, and now here X has to make one final stand to save all that he has sworn to protect against an individual that was largely responsible for the hell they live in due to the Elf Wars. A battle 100 years in the making, and X's final opponent is not Sigma, not Vile, but Weil, a human or at least was originally a human. And in order to save everyone X has to do the one thing he was programmed to never do: harm a human being. X would essentially be going against his own programming and thus technically becoming a Maverick for the sake of all. As impactful as this was for Zero, I kinda wish it was X was the one to fight Weil as it would've been both a sad, but fitting end for the blue maverick hunter.
thing is, that's exactly why Zero fits better for the fight. X's legacy remains untainted. X's legacy is untouched, and he's still the hero, while Zero, who never gave a damn about that, gets to protect his friend and save them from a fate that was truly cruel. having to kill a human, something X refused to do, to save humanity. He had failed to protect X's life, but he could protect that legacy.
Plus, there's a law of robotics that is technically a rewritten version of the first one: A robot may not harm humanity, or, by inaction, allow humanity to come to harm. It basically means a Robot is allowed to kill humans in case they become a danger for themselves in order to save the most humans as possible. The name of the law? The Zeroth Law Also, X does not follow the laws of robotics. He does not harm humans, yes, but that's because of his more than 30 years of moral testing which ensures he feels he shouldn't do it, not that is just impossible for him.
Technically X was _not_ programmed to never kill a human -- that's the original you're thinking of. X was more than a mere robot, and had free will -- which is why he was never released from his testing pod by Dr Light. Dr Light needed to be ♾️% sure that X's morality was ready for the world first. That's why Copy X is not the same -- his morality was something that was not programmed, but learned. And the Copy didn't learn anything
I swear I could hear the X boss lifebar filling sound as this got started. It's so faithful I'm immersed into a game that doesn't exist. Thank you for making this!
X: i am here to stop this once and for all, Dr Weil!!. this is for all Repliods, the resistance, for Ciel, for zero, For my Daughter leviathan And The Original Megaman and for all the ones I swore to protect!!!.. this is the end!!!. I know i will break the code of non-harming humans, but i am willing to pay the price to save earth!! Weil: if so bad you want to die for those worthless beings. then so be it!
If I'm not mistaken, Z4 went the ambitious route of sampling real (or close to real) instruments (which is why the Ragnarok theme sounds near identical to its Physis remaster), but forgot about GBA's limitations. Kinda wish they'd reused Z3's samples instead. Though it would be interesting to hear the results if that were the case.
Even with the worst guitar sample I've ever heard in a game, Zero 4 still has my favorite soundtrack out of the Zero games, and is number 2 or 3 overall when it comes to Mega Man soundtracks. RZRT Physis, though, has to be one of, if not my favorite video game soundtracks of all time

The cleaner samples make this sound the way it should. Sounds amazing.

All it needs is the health bar sound...that screams for it!
Shit tbh after everything that happened in the story if OG X were to just show up to fight Dr.Weil I think Dr.Weil would have a stroke.
The best soundtrack on Mega Man Zero 4 and with X-Style way better than the original version great work!
Rock: Wily all this years of fighting ends here and now!
Low key sounds better than the original?
Just sounds cleaner and maybe less compressed. And Z4 had iffy samples.

Si bien, me gusta como quedó, siendo completamente sincero, sigo prefiriendo la versión original
Y yo prefiero la version de ressonant vie, le da un toque mas dramático y emotivo
Zero 4 had done REALLY bad samples. The X series has good samples. Match made in heaven
Agreed
Do keep in mind the GBA's extreme limitations when it came to sound.

This one was Zero's last fight , which one was X last fight?
during Zero v. Omega Zero
@@nikolairagnarov9979 i think his last was to seal the Dark Elf himself, since Zero decided to end his own life in the lab after the fight against Omega.
X will be alive, I think.
Technically, it was Zero vs. Omega
If you mean in the context of X fighting, and it being part of the MMX5 -> MMZ timeliness, it was against PNG Sigma
sounds good, but i personally prefer the original.
Megaman x samples sounds better than megaman zero samples
