Might sound strange, but learning about that deleted scene actually broke my heart a little. Cause I'm autistic myself and have been accidently pushing boundaries a few times in life. Poor Hunter didn't need that "you'll understand when youre older". He just didn't realise Luz and Amity was gonna have a moment. For all he knew, they where on a rescue-mission and should always be two in case of a trap. Heck, growing up under a cult, he might not eaven ever have learned what "girlfriends" mean.
@@kalenkotalik Yeah... But hey! Remember when Hunter kidnappad Willow and her friends for the Coven, and by the end of the day Willow could still recognise his good intentions. If she could let that thing slide, she probably can have the patience for some social awkwardness. She only needs to recognise his efforts, missplaced as they might be.
doesnt he also like, carry a bag with him most of the time he also wears similar types of clothes all the time like he always has some sort of cape /cloak?
I’m not autistic but I really appreciate this hc for him, I also think the deleted scene supports the fact that hunter could be aromantic spectrum. As an aromantic asexual myself I have experiences of not understanding people or characters actions when they feel attracted to each other and I’ve had people tell me “you’ll understand when your older” as a result, even though I still don’t relate to their feeling or fully understand them

I had a video about autism in girls pop up and figured it’d watch it and learn something and almost everything she said I related to so I did some more research and talked to my mom about.she talked to someone friends (after doing more research)and found someone good (not with autism speaks) to diagnose me (and my brother) but we have to wait because my dad just had foot surgery so we have to wait till he can walk just in case. But for now I’m rolling with I believe I am autistic (just in case it’s something else) Sorry if I was info dumping and you didn’t care

But the deleted scene did still happen just off screen cuz that was why he was pouting when Luz and amity look at down at them. And you just can’t deny that he IS autistic coded regardless of his trauma or upbringing because of huperfixations and poor voice control, and hyperexpresivness, infodumping, literally wanting to express his interest by wearing a cosmic frontier costume in public, poor Proprioception, advanced vocabulary, and much more

1:05 I found out that I might be autistic (I still have to be evaluated) and I literally watched tons of videos on autistim in girls
If you’re AFAB getting evaluated they may tell you you’re autistic but not give you a diagnosis so self diagnosing is allowed!
