Foggiato Sewing Machines is now producing a new unit for sewing beach umbrella ribs to the fabric covers
The use of a PLC and a large number of parts designed and built specifically for this project, made possible to create a reliable, versatile and safe machine for joining the fabric cover to the umbrella frames.
Foggiato Sewing Machines has carefully studied the mechanical part which has been the focus of considerable study since many parts, not commercially available, have been created specifically for this machine.
Furthermore, the standard kinematic mechanisms have been revised, modified or replaced by electro-pneumatic devices supervised by a PLC.
This one, in addition to optimizing activation times, has made it possible to solve the problems intrinsic to the practical use of the machine and adopt a whole series of devices safety for the operator.
For example, the thread trimmer has been totally redesigned to fit the updated use of this machine.
The zig-zag width has been significantly increased by intervening not only in the oscillation of the needle bar but also by redesigning the plate which has been entirely made by us with measurements, materials and thicknesses oriented to the the project needs.
This is also to be able to house the adjustable jaws to allow the customer to adjust them easily and independently.
The operational speed, in addition to all the technical solutions adopted on the machine, is further implemented by the support carriage of the umbrella frame which, in addition to having every type of positioning adjustment, moves itself on linear ball bearings which maximize smoothness, allowing maximum precision and maximum comfort at work.

La Foggiato macchine per cucire realizza oggi una nuova unità per la cucitura delle stecche degli ombrelloni da spiaggia sulle coperture in tessuto.
L’utilizzo di un PLC e una serie di parti progettate e costruite appositamente per questo progetto hanno consentito di realizzare una macchina affidabile, versatile e sicura per unire la copertura in tessuto ai telai degli ombrelloni.
La Foggiato macchine per cucire ha studiato attentamente parte meccanica che è stata al centro di un notevole studio poiché molte parti, non disponibili in commercio, sono state create specificatamente per questa macchina.
Inoltre i cinematismi di serie sono stati rivisti, modificati o sostituiti da unità pneumatiche sovrintese da un PLC il quale, oltre ad ottimizzare i tempi di attivazione, ha permesso di risolvere le problematiche intrinseche all’utilizzo pratico della macchina e adottare tutta una serie di dispositivi di sicurezza per l’operatore.
Ad esempio, il dispositivo rasafilo è stato totalmente riprogettato per adattarsi all’utilizzo aggiornato della macchina.
L’ampiezza dello zig-zag è stata decisamente aumentata intervenendo non solo nell’oscillazione della barra ago ma anche ridisegnando la placca che è stata integralmente realizzata da noi con misure, materiali e spessori orientati alle necessità del progetto.
Questo anche per poter alloggiare le ganasce registrabili così da permettere al cliente di regolarle sulla scorta delle proprie stecche con facilità e autonomamente.
La rapidità operativa, oltre a tutte le soluzioni tecniche adottate sulla macchina, è ulteriormente implementata dal carrello di supporto del telaio dell’ombrellone che oltre a disporre di ogni tipo di regolazione del posizionamento, scorre su cuscinetti a sfera lineari che massimizzano la scorrevolezza permettendo la massima precisione e il massimo confort nel lavoro.
