I’m still grieving the passing of my dear Mama just last month. It’s still so extremely difficult. Crows around the neighborhoods I frequent and the one I live in, have started to take an interest in me, they hang out around me in the trees and watch me eating my lunch or penunts, and when I’m crying on a park bench or on the lawn, under a tree, where ever I might be, there they are, curious. They remember me. When I come home or walk where ever I frequent, some of them fly towards me from a block or two away, they land on signs or lights above. They follow me in large numbers when I have peanuts in my hands, some would drop to the ground and they would swirm and dive to get them, they collect them and bring hide them for later? Animals know your suffering before humans do sometimes, there is a silent healing which happens, I am feeling it. I’ll never fully recover from my loss I know that, but from my pain I transform into loving interest in these enlightened feathered beings..... Thank you ! - Vi An.
