Never buy a 6.0 or you'll be sorry. Had 2 of them , junk. Unless you like fixing stuff all the time at thousands of dollars every time you turn around. Done with Ford after these last 4 Ford trucks I have are gone. I'll never buy another. They can keep their $60k-$70k+ junk. 😂
@@GatewayCarConnection I wish I would have taken pictures of my wheel adapters I removed from my 1992 Crew Cab 4x4. They were Ford branded. I sold them for way too little. I didn't know what I had.
My questions For both tanks how many gallons and how much is gas ⛽ If you fill up both tanks how long does it last before filling up again Is it a good reliable truck for travel and every day use
If you don't mind me asking? Wear can you get the front and rear chrome fender trim. I have one just like this and I'm trying to restore it as well...its my baby!
My father has a 1999 F-250 7.3 Turbo, extended cab, long bed with only 72k miles. Spends its time in the pole barn and primarily used for towing their travel trailer. Not a single flaw on it anywhere. He’s had people make offers and even wait for him to come out of the store to inquire about it.
Very nice truck! My dad has 2 F350s that are 1997. One is a dually flatbed with 280,000 miles and the other one is a single wheel regular pickup truck with about 260,000 miles and they’re both day cab trucks.
Do these trucks go through an extensive restoration/clean up after you get them or do you pick them up in this condition? Like frame coating ,detailing ,and paint work. If so how much does it normally cost?
Nice looking truck wish i had money to buy it i have a 91 f250 idi 7.3 love my truck wish mine was a 4x4 mine has 120,000 miles but not as nice as yours
Damn it is hard to find a 7.3 powerstorke that looks good and has less than 200,000 miles on it, would like to now what the price is for a truck like that,👍🏼
@@ogmudboned that truck was never offered in a 250 or 350. You can get a 96 and 97 f250 in a crewcab shortbed and a couple years the supercap shortbed. But no regular cab shortbed in 3/4 or 1 ton from the factory.
@@123phale not completely true. I have a stock cab n chassis 4x4 dually. Cab n chassis are considered commercial truck that 4x4 was an option. This trk here has a 9.2k gvwr if was a srw to start its life with duals added or 10k gvwr if 4x4 front end was added but mine has a 11k gvwr
As a pickup yes that is correct but i have a stock factory 4x4 dually cab n chassis which is the same length as this since mine is a standard cab 11ft bed
Ford never did make a 4x4 dually OBS; the company "Centurion" made a whole bundle of different Ford truck custom packages such as Full Leather interior trucks, four door f150s, and for this one a 4x4 SRW converted into a Dually.
Not like the person who buys this truck is actually going to use it for what it was built for, Maybe hual a camper with it, Might as well ask for an absurd amount of money so it can sit in some one else's garage and gain "value"
Funny how many people said its not worth the asking price. Sold in a day for that price so yeah it is worth it.
how much did it sell for?
Music to my ears. I own a 5.9 cummins I bought brand new in 2006. 83,000 miles. Still rocking hard. Love this 7.3 though.
My absolute dream truck
such a beautiful truck and that smell is 2nd to none!
That truck looks and sounds so good, beautiful job

Perfect obs dually
Lovely blue interior.
Wonderful Truck, Ford is king

7.3s for life
Ford never made a crew cab dually with 4wd. Thats a dream truck and I would do the same but it’s been converted by some company or person.
You're correct - this truck came factory as a 4x4 SRW and had the DRW added later.
@@GatewayCarConnection I wish I would have taken pictures of my wheel adapters I removed from my 1992 Crew Cab 4x4. They were Ford branded. I sold them for way too little. I didn't know what I had.
I would almost trade my 2011 for an obs that clean. The 6.7 is a power house but you can't beat a 7.3!!!
My questions
For both tanks how many gallons and how much is gas ⛽
If you fill up both tanks how long does it last before filling up again
Is it a good reliable truck for travel and every day use
Now this is a beautiful truck. This is my dream to own soon
Dream truck due to the rare combination!

Honestly my dream truck and spec 😂 (only thing I’d change is make the interior grey or red)
What was the sell price
Had that truck years ago. Put 300k on it and ran like new still when i sold it.
You owned this particular dually?

Did you guys sell this truck all ready? Not seeing it on your site
Do you still have the truck I’m interested how much thank you
I got a 97 f350 as well unfortunately its automatic but still a good truck though but even though I flushed the trans its some how boiling the fluid
These look so much longer than the new ones
What an amazing truck, I love it .

You can tell those rear wheel wells are aftermarket. Not worth $26000. Truckenstein
I agree this truck definitely started life as a srw F350

Single Rear Wheel
Ford didn’t offer a factory 4wd dually until 99. This was converted. Either 2wd to 4wd or more likely a srw 350 converted to drw, like David said

Most likely dually conversion.
What do I want for it

Lovely truck
And it’s gone
How much
I love this truck
No he doesn't, he would break it in half in less than a day lol
#WhistlinDiesel needs it
How much is this $8,500 dollar truck?
Ford didn't make a 4wd dually in 97. Except in the "F-superduty" F-450. This one either got a dually kit or somebody changed it to four-wheel drive.
Most likely a single rear wheel that somebody converted to duals. Those rear fenders aren't factory.
@@supadoopa926 I called on it and he said he was a factory 2wd cclb dually. They did a 4wd conversion
Did it have a heavier suspension and rears in it? Or was it still a 250 rears and suspension?

31k??? No way lol. Thanks for the reply though man. I considered going to look at it but not for that price.
Again if it's for sale why want you sell it
I need drivers side door bro😎✌
What's the price?
I'm guessing around 26,000.00
Funny everyone tells me ford never made a dually 4x4 stick shift from factory
They didn't. This is either a dually conversion or a 4x4 conversion
Thats odd because I know my grand fauther had one but an ex cab owned it brand new so did the factory send them to a convertion shop for the 4x4 swap

While it's a very clean truck, there's no such thing as an OBS Powerstroke. Powerstroke started with the electronic fuel pump, not mechanical....

@G Riv I didn't ask. No buddy and their dog ever said "I'm gonna pay 26k for a 24 year old 1ton dually and put it through its paces".

No power to be useful compared to today 1 tons
