Ran into a couple chapters that my wife and I were getting lost in from all the names (2nd Samuel 19-21) and this channel really helped. Very cool you are doing this
2:27-2:39 lol! I appreciate the comedy and appreciate a more positive Bible scripture in terms of some psalms. I finished 2 Chronicles and I wasn't sure what direction to go for the next book. I was in the same boat as you wanting to kind of stay on the timeline of where 2 Chronicles left off yet also open to reading other books or finishing up some past books like Genesis and Numbers. So I wrote down 12 books and did a heads vs tails coin flip elimination tournament and the winner was Ezekiel...and though it's in the time period window after 2 Chronicles, it's kind of a depressing book so far. I'm up to chapter 13.
I have a question from the application. If we will be judged for our sins how do we make right for our wrongs. For example if we have stolen or judged our neighbors how do we make right in those situations in terms of Gods eyes?
If you've stolen something, you could start by returning what was taken, then apologizing & ask for forgiveness, and be ok with whether they forgive you or not; you made it right. You could confess your sin to The Lord & repent. Ultimately, our salvation is in Jesus Christ, who paid for our sins, so if you've given your life to Him & are born-again, then your sins are paid for, past, present and future. You can always ask God for the answers to all of your questions. Also, find a good church community & disciple.
Thank you for sharing and explaining paslams 7. May God bless you and your family 🙏
Thank you, 😊
