Samurai Warriors 2:XL - Musashi's Tale 1 - Battle of Sekigahara (360)

Musashi has a unique Sekigahara where most the Western army has already retreated. It's pretty fun. Kojiro is also on the battlefield just sort of killing at random until Ieyasu retreats.
Musashi himself is one of the best characters in the game with an amazing moveset and fast attacks.

Musashi's involvements in Sekigahara and Osaka have been a matter of debate in history, which is probably why he doesn't appear in these battles anymore in SW3 and 4.
It's said that during Sekigahara he fought as a nameless (as in, not famous) retainer of Hideie Ukita. If he fought in Osaka, too, he would be among very few survivors, since he'd live until over 30 years after Osaka. He has no recorded achievements in either of these battles - being a relatively unknown samurai on the losing side of battles probably didn't help it.
In 1633, almost 20 years after Osaka, he became a retainer of Tadatoshi Hosokawa, son of Gracia and Tadaoki Hosokawa.
Speaking of Hosokawa, the duel between Musashi and Kojiro was possibly arranged by Hosokawa - Musashi's father was Tadaoki's teacher while Kojiro was a Hosokawa retainer; that's how Musashi and Kojiro were acquainted for the first time. Another story said the duel wasn't arranged by Hosokawa, but Kojiro was the one who demanded it out of jealousy after he heard that the son of his lord's teacher is supposedly a better swordsman than him.
