LOOK at this horse's form and style!
Had he lived, he would've EASILY been speakable within the same breath as Gem Twist & Milton... I have no doubt.
Thank you for posting this! I've been looking for it for years. Amazing horse.
I totally agree with you! Thankyou for uploading, It was great fun watching him, He just kept this neat tidy balenced rythm all the way round and the horse jumped with incredible power and care! Gahh this was great to watch, made it look like a schooling session at home! :D
Ohhh :3 I need to watch those :D Thank you so much! I cannot express how greatful I am :)
What a gorgeous gait.
And such a gorgeous horse.
hes absolutely incredible. I've never seen a horse with such perfect form.
Das war das beste was ich je gesehen habe !!!!
so proud that this is my horses' grandpa:) she is called redipomme, by that we mean repetition of jus de pomme
His Grandson is called jus too and was a german champion.. Now im riding him with two other people. We love him
@ImortallSynn thank you so much ! Really any comepetitor from this games would be great - but I remember Yan the most ! (:
O Of course ! Yay, I can't wait (:
I am lucky enough to own a horse who's grandsire is this beautiful stallion, wouldnt change him for the world!!
awesome!!
thanks:)
@kasmild
I do have several clips of Rochet M at both the Olympics and the World Equestrian Games.
I'll put them up eventually... but am currently experiencing a software issue, so cannot upload anything currently until it's corrected.
Riding and jumping Jus de pommes grandson at the moment im so in love with him 😍 hes 12 already.
I have a grandson of his! We are doing dressage, originally from Australia and now in Germany training with Leonie Bramall. Search AEA Julius in UA-cam and you can see him!
@2101lovelilly
That Fence was in celebration of the upcoming Olympics in Sydney, 2000.
This venue is clearly the Georgia International HorsePark... and even a 3second Google search will tell you that Jus de Pomme won gold in 1996 Atlanta, not 2000 Sydney. ;)
No problem. Just subscribe for updates. They'll be out, eventually.
he was one of the Best RIP Boy
Thank you for posting this. What a phenomenal athlete- he jumped around that Olympic course like a hunter. does anyone know how he died?
Hi, is it possible to make some videos with Alexandra Liederman and Rochet M ? I can't find any at all on the net...
😍😍 My gelding’s grandpa
@immortalSynn Would you be able to post te video of Yan Topps and Top Gun jumping during this games ? I watched reruns of this as a kid , and wanted to see them once again :3 or really any other competitors from this Olympics ^^ I would love it ! :D
the best horse in the world
@Lyllerh
That's actually, for lack of a better word, an advantage:
it was the late '90s when FEI-level jumpoff courses began to shift away from emphasizing speed to almost exclusively emphasizing technical capability and scope tests... perfectly suited for the heavier/slower/scopier Warmbloods (like this horse) over the hotter TB-types.
Well, I have several of Loro Piana Tomboy and Rodrigo Pessoa already up, and may add another one of them soon.
Also will be adding ET FRH and Hugo Simon, from this competition as well.
Thanks for sharing :-) Do you have Alexandra Liederman & Rochet M in the Olympics 2000 in Sydney?
Such a shame that this horse died so young and with only few offsprings.
Though he wasn't a fast horse he was still a truly amazing showjumper..
amazing i expecially love how this horse looks so proud of himself with everyone cheering, he looks like he's enjoying it so much, and i think he did! and q sorry but where where these held because the last jump looks like the Sydney Harbour Bridge with the Aussie flag inside it and Boomerangs, but that was the 2000 Olympics wasn't it, sorry but yeh where was it held?
@Sauce180
Welcome.
Complications from a colic-related operation.
@Lyllerh
I was speaking to heavier than TBs. I'm aware WBs are getting lighter.
The comparison was also between today's courses, and the more typical "running" courses of the '70s-'90s. See my video "Super-exciting 1990s-style Jumpoff" to get an idea of what I'm talking about.
@diangofango
Yes, I have plenty. ;)
And you're in luck... because I plan to make a video called "Send in the Clones," featuring Gem Twist, Calvaro V, and ET FRH.
It'll probably be sometime in the next few weeks, keep a lookout for it. :)
Too sad that jus de pomme died a few weeks after that great success :/ He was extraordinary.
Welcome :)
APPLE JUICE WON THE OLYMPICS YEAAA
I can.
They had at least one clear round, but I'm not sure if I actually caught that on tape. Their jumpoff round was a let-down, as they had one of the first fences down, and thus really couldn't compete. Will see what I can do.
No. But I do have plenty of their rounds in both the 1996 Olympics and the 1998 World Equestrian Games.
...vereinbart, er war so toll! :'(
sorry does anyone know the name of that song?
Now THAT'S a victory round! Lol, Loved this horse...
What happened to him? =/
@ImmortalSynn I agree with the courses today emphazising technical capability, but I don't think that the horses today are getting heavier if that's what you mean? To me it seems that the horses today are getting lighter, though still emphasizing technique and capability.
I don't think Jus de Pomme's lack of speed would ever be an advantage, his advantage was his fantastic jumping capability. He might never win a jump off, but at the big tournaments as he'll be the only horse with zero faults.
@ImmortalSynn ok thanks : )
This is my mares Daddy💕💕 wowo she’s amazing
THIS IS MY HORSE'S DADDY! :D
@diangofango
Colic. He died after post-surgery complications.
@diangofango
No prob.
@jollyjumpersgirl
lol, he was named by his owner's toddler
jus de pomme means apple juice :) haha
Cute name.
Un allemand sur une monture française mais c'est le monde à l'envers !
My guy's daddy :0
Sadie Verhoeven yours too!? I ride a mare that is one of the sires of this beautiful boy
He died very shortly after this, just as his fame was beginning to peak.
That's why his handless-victory gallop was so sentimental... it's how most of the world last got to see him.
