Me too 😭 I wonder what happened to him? I tried to look up his name but nothing came up. Leukaemia is horrible. Poor kid had to suffer at such a young age. At least he got to experience this amazing wish.

@@rockinpinkcadillac yea. And in regards to what happened to him, I guess that can only be guessed at. The fact that he qualified for the “Make a Wish Foundation” to begin with indicates to me that his prognosis probably wasn’t very good. So he either succumbed to his condition many years ago, or as I like to believe, he pulled through and is flying airplanes to this very day. If that is the case, I recon he would probably be somewhere in his late 30s today.
It’s fascinating to me that something as simple as an ad like this can remain in the recesses of my memory to be discovered years, even decades later.

Whether or not Caleb Lineberger is still with us or not, his wish to fly had been granted and it's truly wonderful he got to experience it himself.
I don't know if Caleb Lineberger managed to recover from lymphocytic leukemia (or if he's even still alive), but I'm at least glad his wish came true.
Justing seeing the "Make A Wish Foundation" makes me want to help children if there wish is to meet Thomas The Tank Engine.
