As a North Alumnus I have to say I am very impressed with your show this year Oak Creek!!! While I unfortunately did not have the pleasure of seeing it live, from the video here I love the entertainment value inherent in your show. Congratulations on a great season and fantastic performance!
totally get it! and it is kinda frustrating for all us bands who have lost 4 straight years, but i respect you guys and what you do! i agree that all the shows were phenomonal this year- ours set school records! so congrats to all on an AMAZING year!
I'm from the percussion section in Oak Creek. While we were waiting for our scores at the end, a bunch of parents came up to us (they noticed us in uniform) and told us that we totally shredded the field and we're gonna get 1st no matter what happens, no doubt. Even a parent from North said that we did way better than they did. "3rd place goes to Oak Creek Marching Knights." sigh.
wow guys. im a sophmore cadet from waukesha west, and i honestly have to say i dont know how the judges scored all of us. that was an AWESOME show ive seen it 3 or 4 times now! you got ripped off from percussion, the feature was awesome... now i cant say that you shouldve beaten us, but i can say you shouldve scored higher (than north). go out next year and kick butt again!!!! great work this year!!
@iSpeak13 don't sweat it bro i marched madisons snare line this past year and trust me you guys blew everyone away in drums. no question. keep it up guys.

Percussion was definitely worth like a 9.80 or 9.90, not 9.50, and definitely not worth losing to norths 9.60. My opinion and im from west and my freshman show was 2011, favorite percussion solo ive ever heard.
I appreciate you clearing that up, i took what you said as a "low blow" ,so to speak, at waukesha north. And upon that I do wish to apologize for my comment on west being the band no one worries about, my temper escaped me. Both you guys had great shows. The last few years have been really bad insult wise, and i jumped the gun. My bad.
im on the oak creek bassline and i would just like to say north and west did great and were CLEAN as hell in their bassruns but our 32nd note runs versus your 8th note bass runs....whos sounds raw as hell...
masterdisaster495, i'll field that question. We beat them (we being waukesha north) because we did better, plain and simple, we had harder drill and harder music. A 9.5 is still an amazing score, but you should watch what you say, because obviously after winning four years in a row, we have been doing something right. So please don't say they should have beaten us and not you, because all that is crap. Oak Creek and North both have sweet drumlines, west is the one no one really worries about.
