You have four sons?
I didn't realise that and I'm not great with names but I know theres the older one who helps out a lot and looks very much like his Mum, then there's Rupert with his beautiful blonde hair and then the toddler whose name I can't recall.
Also, I can't for the life of me think of seeing a fourth son of you both. Can someone enlighten me or tell me in which video I can see this elusive son?

Hi Nick and Mummy Moon~ I love reading about what you are doing and watching your videos. I am just a year away from breeding and raising Welsh Ponies. I loved them so much and like you, cared for several elderly mares til the end and one stallion. Even though I’m now 80, I would dearly love to join you for a day or two arriving in wellies and bringing my own manure fork. I think I could be useful. I wish you all so much luck and I love seeing the wonderful sleek Legends that you care for.

A retirement trust of some kind should be established for animals that are profited from and every human who profits from these horses should have to pay a percentage in, unfortunately that would involve a human to manage it and that could prove to be a disaster. I love you guys!!

I found the Pethericks through Michael's 'Doing it Ourselves' vlog, and then began watching of the Petherick family, which included Sadie. I shared your channel on my fb page at that time. And today I have shared this episode on my fb page again, specifically as the Show Jumping is part of the Olympics.

The video that you did with Sadie where you went from stall to stall explaining what each horse did in their heyday would be good to repeat as I found it very informative about who they are, their state of mind when they arrived and what helped them through the depression of no longer being a star. I think it would help new members understand why it’s important to support them and how they are much happier these days under your care and tenderness. 🥰🙋🏼♀️

This has been in the limelight in my area for MANY years being home of the most famous Stampede and with the world known Spruce Grove being here, not to mention the wild horses. It isn't anything new to anyone that had anything to do with horses or related industry. I live in the area where horses, wild and otherwise, where rode from the states over the mountains to this area. Also tons of First Nations who had horses long before the Spanish came, archaeological fact, and are the originators of the very first competitive horses. Many tribes used competitions on horseback to settle disputes rather than going to full on war which would benefit no one but kill and weaken everyone. Really glad you are putting a light on it though, too many don't think beyond the immediate. Glad to hear some competitors are still involved, more could be. Our most famous, Big Ben, died with Ian Miller. Not all competitors exchange horses like socks, some do keep them even into retirement. One of the most famous bull rider, J.B Mooney bought the bull who injured him out of competition once the bull was retired. That doesn't happen for all bulls either.
I enjoy your videos and am thankful for your work. You may be interested in knowing vets seem to know more about cushings than regular doctors. I have a form of cushings and have had trouble getting good treatment

Just watched quite a long interview with Ben Maher at the Olympics. He’s one of the few riders to jump a clear qualifying round on Dallas Vegas Batilly. Go Ben!!!
These horses have a high powered career. They are used to the cheering crowds, the attention, the training, all the exercise, and when their career comes to it's ultimate end, they are mentally a bit lost. Hopefully they are lucky enough to have a home that cares for them with dignity, but that is often not the case. The Moons step in, sort out the health needs, the mental stimulation, and give the horses a great retirement. The Moons are also active in trying to enact legislation that these horses are cared for and not inhumanely discarded. We've seen them do it many times.
Jenny and Nick, this was done perfectly. I shared it with Facebook. I have a large family and a large group of friends, and I asked that they share as well.
