Thanks for this. It seems to me we have limited influence except to pray a lot, to avoid these things ourselves, walking in the strengths and joy of our powerful Saviour! These days these things are so widespread, and have been around such a long time that they have become part of the culture, so that many people delight in them as happy childhood memories (etc.). Also, the influence of propaganda against us hysterical Christians sounding the alarm so often, or being goofy conspiracy theorists, etc., trying to spoil everyone’s fun all the time, and most insidiously of all taking joy away from little children! I find I have to constantly run to the Word of God for comfort, encouragement and guidance, as it so easy to feel overwhelmed.
Thank you brothers for this valuable information and warning! It is dangerous indeed and truly playing with fire. These are crucial truths, that we are warned of in the Scriptures. We indeed, need to be a set apart people. So important to be in the Word of God daily, reading and studying it, to know what pleases and displeases the Lord, and to be equipped to stand against the enemy. Amen! Amen! Keeping you in prayer 🙏🏻

I remember well when Star War’s was first released. It all started out as great fun and great entertainment. The dark and sinister element was there; later movies only magnified it. I won’t watch it today. Same deal with Harry Potter. I reject it entirely and will not have it near me.
As always, informative, enlightening and critical. True story: while in line at a Post Office in Northern California a mother and her twin boys (about 8-9 yrs old) were also in line. The boys were wearing a 'super hero' pajamas and I didn't recognize the character. So I asked the boys about it. They gave the names of the characters which I still didn't recognize - long story short. These characters which are portrayed as super heroes get their 'power' by drinking blood! The more the children described and defined the characters the more animated they became. The mother said, 'geez I shouldn't let you watch such a show.' and the boys response was 'you (mom) turn it on for us!' What Baruch and Christian teach and is confirmed in the Word of God: human beings DO NOT, in and of themselves have 'spiritual power'. There are only two sources of spiritual power; God, who is One, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit or Satan. A human being can only submit to one or the other - not both. This is not eternity, the soul of a person will follow the one they submit to - choose wisely because eternity begins at ones final heartbeat not when Jesus returns. Confess, repent and renounce before God any and all involvement in any form of rebellion against God and seek His forgiveness. Then bear witness to true spiritual power - the power of God. It won't be easy, Satan doesn't let go without a fight, but truly I speak - nothing and no one is greater than God. The Holy Spirit see's, hears and is fully aware of it all and He will move and glorify the Lord Jesus and God the Father will be glorified through His Beloved.

We have had the elders of our church pray over her and anoit her with with oil. When a movie makes me feel uncomfortable in my spirit I walk away. I'm careful what I watch, especially Star Wars.
