You give the children so much fun. As a retired teacher, I wish other families interacted with their children as much as you do. The children are your life and that is the way I think it should be. Lovely to watch such a same a lot of kids missed out well done for making such a big effort great idea using you bedrooms so kids could trick or treat I thought our house was big with 6 bedrooms to big really now for just the 2of us but we do have the grandchildren a lot which we love but due to virus it’s harder as I’m classed as high risk our granddaughter spent first lockdown with us as her MAM is a icu nurse and her dad is also a key worker stay safe look after one another 🌈🇬🇧🌈

This video was a huge favorite of mine! So creative and so much joy to all of your faces. We did a candy hunt around our house where we placed candy goodie bags all around and the kids had to find them. We also made Rice Crispy Treats and decorated them as pumpkins, did a DIY craft Halloween basket thing, and made green cookies with candy eyes. It was such a blast!

We've done trick or treat in our house like this before too. Honestly my older kids all love that memory. No one says remember the year we saw the same houses as the year before. No its remember the year we did Halloween around the house and had hot cocoa because it was raining and cold outside. That is the memory that sticks. Making memories one clever way at a time. Sometimes it's all we can do to figure out cute ways to make sure kids are still feeling so special during this crazy time.

I am also in Canada....Nova Scotia. We have had the terrible winds but it has been quite warm. The kids were allowed to go out to Trick or Treat because our virus situation here on Cape Breton Island is under control. Our mainland of Nova Scotia has had some cases but nothing near to a lock down....yet......Thank goodness! I think what you did for the children for Halloween is absolutely brilliant. We're in Manitoba Canada. We had horrible wind as well, coupled with snow so a blustery blizzardy day. But we went to the Zoo then did a Scavenger hunt on our property in lieu of trick or treating. The great Pumpkin was very generous to our 4 yr old and thankfully I think she seemed okay with not doing the traditional Halloween this yr. Happy Halloween!!

for you to have a big family, and living in a property with so many rooms, i think you did a fab job for trick or treating.. its like living in a flat. and was nice to see the older children helping with the younger ones having fun
