7:54 this took me a few times re-listening to it to really get it in my head and understand it. I'm so used to people saying that you should follow your dreams. Not to live it. It was a bizarre feeling and it made me pick up the pace with the stuff I'm doing. Thank you for that.
Yes! I think that distinction is super important. To “follow” your dreams means that your dreams are always one step ahead of you, they’re something that you’re forever reaching for but never able to grasp. To LIVE your dream means something else entirely- that your dreams are tangible and reachable, not a far-off goal one can easily lose sight of.
I got to this after seeing one of your older videos and I can safely say you are very underrated. Good humor and you don’t focus on numbers and money. Keep it up!
It's the one that Notch used to have on his channel before he deleted all his videos. It was published on May 13, 2009 if I recall correctly. If you don't consider that minecraft because it was called cave game then it's the video in which a dude shows of his statue of Mario.
The fact he's the founder of the company that made nuclear throne honestly just blows me away, that's more about one person that made a random video years ago than I have on my entire resume...
It's really cool to think that the creators of both Minecraft and Nuclear Throne knew eachother and talked to eachother for a while. Those are two very good games that you don't associate with eachother when you're playing them. The world really is a small place, huh?
i remember playin minecraft at school for 2 weeks in 2010 and then dropping it because nobody would play it. good times. also talking about irc channels being old makes me feel old. i remember the quiz channels and wasting so much time. great video btw
I love this channel, I know it’s kinda vague and unoriginal to call small channels underrated, but this channel is underrated, so I don’t know what else to say.
minecraft is honestly such a strange experience, I’ve know about the game since 2010 and yet even today it still seems “fresh”? most games need sequels to be as famous but minecraft is one of the few games I know that has been constantly updating since it first came out and I don’t know when it will stop
Just found this channel and as someone who really appreciates quality writing as well as video games, I feel as though I’ve found a gold mine. Thanks for the content and inspiration to give my own ideas a shot my friend. Much love
All of your content is such high quality and captivating to watch, it takes a LOT to not bore people but you manage to bring the audience’s attention to the content so well! Your channel deserves so much more attention, I’m shocked that you don’t have more recognition!
Man I'm so glad UA-cam introduced me to Your channel. I love the ambience of Your videos, especially ones that discuss minecraft. Since UA-cam algorithm choose Your video this time, it's Your chance to blow up. Don't waste it mate.
The real question is if Jwaap came before Nizzotch... I mean, Nizzotch was old devlogs, but Jwaap was pretty much one of the first - if not the first actual video about minecraft
Beaststars may have a fire ost but have you checked out Made in Abyss? The anime/manga is weird as fuck but the ost is absolutely beautiful definitely worth checking out.
The ACTUAL first minecraft video is e villes castle, which sadly doesnt exist any more. But only adds to your point- you might recognise the name 'Ville' from ville kallio, the guy who made cruelty squad.
_looks at name_ I was innovating on how great planescape was when it was known by like a dozen people on gamefaqs. I even remember some of those guys, DarkTalon, Platter, Skardavnelnate. I also bought, played and loved Deus Ex before it was cool. Wish my innovator moments had been more practical... like buying Take-Two interactive stock before GTA5 came out. I knew I should, I just didn't realize how easily I could until it was too late. >__> I also was using youtube literally months after it came out and never once considered making a channel because like there's a future in that right!?
Yeah, I had a feeling it would strike that nerve with some people. I've always been aware of them, but the vast majority of people in my age group have no idea what they are.
Believe it or not i was the first person that played for pixelgun 3D I remember how bad the game was In graphics In gameplay it was a really good game I saw it grow and then died
I have absolutely no idea, but I'm also not complaining. By the way, have you joined the new discord? I see you in my comments all the time but I'm not sure if I've spoken much to you

Yea
I think
That Mario video was after another surviving video that was slightly older, but was still Minecraft, but it was made by the same guy.
I really love that inspiring bit at the end, as someone who's always wanted to create but have been afraid to really go for it, it's nice to hear.

that ending was oddly inspiring
