Maybe people can pump the breaks on the whole Super Bowl and deep playoff run talk. Yes the Bears have a good roster however the kid is a ROOKIE and we have a lot of new pieces on offense. It’s gonna take at least half a season to get that cohesion working.

Caleb didn't play in an NFL style offense and am shocked they didn't sign veteran qb to back him up. I have always been concerned with Caleb Williams because he is not as good as Justin Fields. I expect excuses to start and continue throughout the season. At some point you will have to deal with this draft mistake.
Generational, NFL ready that's what they told us. Should have kept Fields traded that pick for a haul and kept building the team. What a shame.

As per Hoge and Carmen from CHGO show, his main struggle was holding the ball way too long ..which has been the knock on him in college even by those media pundits who have fallen in love with him...let's hope the coaches fix that for him between now and wk 1 of season...otherwise, maybe those who kept calling him "generational" talent will eat their words, as many usually do over the years

I want to see Odunze at full speed. Hamstrings can linger forever, despite the “minor” official label.
The key to a hamstring is giving it plenty of time to recover and be 100%. It really sucked for the Vikings to miss JJ for so long, but long term, waiting til he was 100% especially at an explosive position like receiver, ultimately was the right call. Hopefully, Odunze isnt pushed till he is 100%and he doesn't feel pressure to ramp up too soon

CJ Stroud struggled and had a terrible first preseason game. That is the point of OTA's, Training Camp, Pre-Season to learn and make adjustments

This is actually great, keep him humble. Maybe he'll get his contract signed. He will be just fine, he is just adjusting to the speed of the game. If your practicing against a defense daily, you have no choice but to become a pro bowl QB.
