Atari 800XL - Bad Apple Demo - On Real Hardware + 8mb Atarimax Cart (( IN STEREO ))

This is the Bad Apple Demo by R0ger. It's running on my Stereo Atari 800XL 256k ram, plus an 8mb Atarimax cartridge, that has the Demo on it. The Atarimax Programmer is a USB based programming cartridge, sold separately from the 8mb cart. The audio is pumped through a oldskool 90's Pioneer amp. I turned the bass up for this one. Enjoy!

Yeah the extra bass makes a big difference. I should re-do the video after re-capping the motherboard

@@paulwestphal7336 I'm shocked it fit in 8 Mb. I'm very curious on how you compressed the video to be that small and decompress it fast enough to play in real time on old hardware. You must have needed to get creative

I don't know, and I don't know if this is the most impressive, but I'm sure this is the best native 8-bit rendition of the music. The messy Pokey harmonics naturally fill out the sound, really a perfect fit for it!
