Yes the color of the kislux is beautiful and it is a great decision, maybe one day they will add feet and straps. It would be nice to have a bigger bag during the colder months when we have to store gloves, beanies, scarves, etc…
When you said “aesthetically triggering,” that hit. I have so many bags, including all my holy grails. But that feeling of still wanting things I see is best described as a trigger. It’s why I still shop. It’s why I’ll probably never find “purse peace.” You just gave me therapy! lol

New subscriber here! I love how you’ve articulated how I feel about luxury these days. I think customer service is a big part of the luxury experience - at Hermes is still great, but that’s also a huge part because of a longstanding relationship with an SA. I can’t imagine starting from scratch - who has the time and energy?! I have an Hermes store closer to my home, but still go to the farther one because I’d rather do the longer commute rather than spend the energy trying to re-establish a new relationship to get the customer service I’m used to. It sounds so silly because we’re talking about top tier luxury and it makes me roll my eyes on myself that I’ve bended a lot to shop at the brand. 😅
Everyone has their own choice but I can't imagine spending $2000 on a bag knowing that in 12 months max I'll be too embarrassed to take it out because it's out of date and I'd rather buy something cheaper Then you can replace it with another one in two or three months without spending too much money *condup*
I have “real” bags and a lot of them. I have a friend who buys the *preluxs* we put them side by side and guess what ?! It’s unbelievable!!! I am at the Chanel boutique with her and no one can tell she has a fake.
