What do you think of the new Power Court Stadium?
Hate to admit it, but it looks too boxy...Spurs' ground has a beautiful aesthetic
@@stevenchampion8137 Do you mean it should be more like an Arena /Bowl design ?
I personally prefer the bowl as in Wembley but Power Court has been designed to retain aspects of The Kenny. Do NOT like the Floodlight design for Power Court, a bit Naff IMO
@@SennaStar something with some curves, character...good aesthetics. This current design reminds me of Colchester's ground, the ugliest of all grounds.
The new one isnt flashy, but its pleasing. It will fit in nicely with Luton's simple life standards. And, its lot better than the old stadium.
The fact that we get at least one season in the PL at Kenilworth Road is something. MK NEVER.
That's how I feel. I'm glad to see the Premier League mainstays playing in the small, on its last leg, Kenilworth Road for at least one season, one last time. It'll be fun to follow, IMO.
@@coryshannon3815 saw us duff up the big clubs there all through the eighties, L-pool 4-1 (and 3-0), beat them all!
Wonderful and great news for Luton Town FC and for this potential City, finally our great town is underway to having some very much needed regeneration, and with such a great football team and Luton FC owners who care for our club we thank you all, much love to Nick Owen who saw a vision the vision, Mick Hartford and all the staff.....
The plans for the new Luton Town FC stadium and the residential looks great, at last we will have a sporting landmark to be proud of, well done the Board of LTFC......
due to the expansion of the bobbers stand we now have a bigger capacity than bournemouth
And now , once again, to carry on surprisng everyone and silence the critics when we stay up in the premier league this season & another 10 years in the top league and longer - In shaa Allah !
Great to see a really unique looking new stadium, not just a copy cat stadium, Derby, Leicester, saints etc etc
Hope luton do well in Premier league this season and get a move to a new stadium 🏟 🙏 🙌 DEE4LIFE 🏴🇨🇵🏴👊💯
It looks impressive, and close to the old stadium.
To be fair this is too small for Luton now, they should reconsider and have atleast 30,000, pointless moving from 10k to 20k since theyre in the prem now
There's permission to go as high as 25000.......power court will also allow some room for expansion in future which is more than they have now
I hope we keep the same sized pitch as at KR.
We don't own the stadium - its rented fromthe local coucil !
buy the times its build they will be in league 2 again
In a 12 word comment, it's impressive to get 4 of them wrong.
I can't understand why a standing area can not be used it's safe you can stand in the German league
I can’t understand why you can’t actually listen.

@@deletebilderbergahaha get him told lol.
and i love your name
The UK system is more like the USA system and that's why. Most old Stadia were safe standing, I grew up watching football on old fashioned terraces including seeing Luton beat Arsenal at Wembley in 1998. After what happened at Hillsborough one year later the Authorities did not want to be held accountable in the event of injury or loss of life inside a football ground. This lead to the Taylor report making seating mandatory. It took many years later for Liverpool fans to be cleared of any wrong doing regarding the events at Hillsborough in 1989 . The UK system is very risk averse and this is why bringing back any form of standing or safe standing as they like to call it is a political issue. Hope that helps Andrew
@@SennaStar I'm 37 so was only 4 when we won the league cup. i love football and the history.
it appears liverpool fans were involved in a number of incidents through the 80s. am i wrong to think a hillsborough event was destined to happen?
@@mowvu5380 Thanks for replying. To answer your questions was it destined to happen? NO it was not. As you are probably well aware of Liverpool played Nottingham Forest at Hillsborough in the FA Cup semi in 1989. It's very important to appreciate that the 1988 Semi Final between the same two teams at the Semi Final Stage was problem free. Supporters were at the same ends of the stadium on both occasions .I don't know who was in charge of policing the games or if it was the same person but 1989 was a disaster so different from the year previous
I wouldn't like to see Luton's stadium knocked down i just think it's funny how there stadium is in front of houses , if Luton had a Women's team couldn't they play there?.
Why future🤯 Why to demolish that legendary/ nostalgic stadium.😭💔
As a Luton fan I love Kenilworth Road, such an old school stadium, but thinking about the long term, we need a modern, enlarged stadium with better needs for this club. 🟠🔵🎩
... the lease is up, and it won't be renewed.
coz it a shithole.
Because Kenilworth Road is a dump. 🤔
@@marko8775 in which case?
Boa sorte ao Luton Town na Premier League
The next underdogs of premier league 😏🔥
Wow
Eredivisie please
And come on the Town lets show um what we are made of........
The council just don't get football.
🇹🇭Thaileague 1 Stadium 🏟️ 2023-2024 please
We need to invest in pl players, not championship players, to compete in the Premier league
Sad….. lutonstadium now bring the real english football
Real English football is the lower leauges and non-league, right down to clubs that play on council pitches and parks. The Premier league is not "English football", just look at who owns the Premier League clubs. See?
@@stevenchampion8137 that’s true
£40 tickets, £10 burgers and £80 shirts..... enjoy your Premier league.
Turkish super league pls 2023/24🎉
They consulted the town’s population to ask them where they’d like the new stadium to be relocated to. The overwhelming response was that it should be moved to where the town’s population is best reflected. LTFC are hence now looking at potential sites in Karachi, Lahore, Faisalbad, Islamabad, Hyderabad, Abbottabad, and Itseffinbad!
That's a bit naughty but fair play nick for speaking your mind.
@@SennaStar
I don’t think it’s naughty as such; more of a simple fact really.
For Luton you could just as easily instead reference Bradford, Burnley, Rotherham, etc.
@@nickcorleone8709 I see where you are coming from Nick. Coming to a Barge near you I guess 🤪
@@SennaStar
Mate I’m going to Sicily. People who mess with the indigenous population there get dealt with.
@@nickcorleone8709 So you intend to get dealt with then?
Stadium looks daft!
this floodlight design looks so stupid.. and the shadow its gonna trow..
I totally agree. Maybe the architect was thinking 'Now that's looking a bit too ordinary, we need to add something pseudo-futuristic', even if that construction doesn't fit to the rest of this stadium at all and its shadow will be bothering the attendance as you mentioned.
