Bittersweet seeing Dev in this. You can tell just from that tiny section that had he been allowed to do the whole 13 weeks there would have been a neck and neck competition between 3 finalists and not just 2. He would've done amazing. Don't think I've ever been so gutted about someone leaving the competition so early.
Same here, I think Dave left way too early. If he had stayed on it might've been 3 male finalists. 😄 Who was he up against when the judges decided to let him go? It's just like when Aston & Janet's left very early. No one saw that coming, I don't think they did either.
Everyone before Michelle (except Will) was 100% out danced by Dev and Catherine. They went out way too early. Don’t know if either would have won it but they deserved way better than they got. 100% thought Dev, Catherine, Michelle and Saffron would’ve got further on then they did.
All the costume changes/additions and sets and props! The crew did an amazing job~ and of course everyone on stage delivered and pulled off all the moves and transitions!
Such a strong cast, it was criminal that so many really capable dancers left so early. Week 3 felt like a final week with three times the amount of contestants.
Always love these dances, they are so rewatchable as on rewatches you can see all the action going on BEHIND the main couple! I love the Chain Reaction section, so much energy and some great moments for Catherine, Emma, Will and Mike.
This is always my favourite part of the final. It’s not only great to see everyone back for one final dance but it’s also a reminder of the greatness of the series. Yes, there have been unpopular results, celebs who have outstayed their welcome, celebs who have left too soon but we should be grateful for everyone who took part in the first place. It takes two to tango but it takes a cast of 30+ to make a series of Strictly awesome.
Aww so lovely to see them all together again for one final hurrah. Amazing how much you miss seeing faces over a span of just a few weeks, Dev, Saffron.. just all of them. I know some people thought it was boring this year but I have to disagree, nice to not have drama in the papers every 5 minutes. Well done guys! X
Idky everyone is saying this- I come back nearly a year later, and I still think Dev, Cath and Saffron wouldnt make the final. Michelle was the only one capable and strong enough to compete with Karim and Kelvin imo .-. And what about Emma W aswell? Emma's Waltz was better than all Catherines dances combined...
Should have had a conga line at the end in tribute to Mike's great exit. After all 2017's ended with Ruth falling over and everyone dogpiling on top of her.

Prayer here when needed but trust God in Jesus and in the power of His Holy Spirit(but that is if you have a relationship with God but if don’t you can still have one in/with Christ as He died and took the wages for our sins and more rose defeated sin and death! He also will come back and judge and make things new so please come to Him humbly, truthfully and with your whole heart, start a relationship with Him! Also on ITT David said him and James would be carrying a surprise around the dance floor at the end (Guessing this was Jamie Laing) what happened to that 😂😂

Also quite funny that Dev&Dianne and Mike&Katya appear to be doing the same lift, though in reversed roles and purposely not working in Mike's case :D. But on the other hand, some kind of wasted opportunity to acknowledge Alex&Kevin danced together two dances. Instead, Anneka almost gets "stolen" by Giovanni? That was a quite odd decision imo.
Saffron should have been in the show longer. This dance was really good and I can see that she improved a lot. Her foot work now was so much better and I think she showed a lot of potential!❤️🥰🥰🥰
H__ 0 she wasn’t awful! The only rounties that probably counteract as awful to you was week 5-7 when she had 1 or 2 days to rehearse them rounties because of eastenders. I mean her waltz and many other dances of hers made me cry, plus her beautiful acting that she placed in them were so real. I’m pretty sure they wouldn’t of given her 10s if she was ‘awful’ plus if it’s on antons back why didn’t Katie Derham get straight to the final?
