- Today's vlog was a viewer request! We received tweets and messages asking about Disney World's Coronado Springs Resort's current status. So we decided to revisit our resort tour playlist, most of those videos were filmed a few years ago so we are going to start taking a look at these resorts and see what's changed. We start by taking a look at the resort grounds and the food and amenities locations. We show three different room tours and even have lunch. We met Tim on this day, when he was on his way out with his food. I said “Hi” (Tim replied) & then I scurried away! We were staying at Coronado & on the last day of our Honeymoon waiting for our airport transportation, after a bit of a hic-up of a day with rides being down at Hollywood Studios. But this led to the perfect timing of meeting Tim! My Husband encouraged me to approach him for a pic (as I was shy), so I tried to time it so he’d finished his meal and said hello. I thanked and told him their videos are great & have meant a lot for me to have, especially when things have been a bit tough. He returned the thanks, kindly took a pic and my Husband saw him again a short while later, whilst getting our Rix Sports Bar order & further thanked him, telling him that it meant a lot for him to take the time, as “My Wife is always watching your videos”. Then came back & said to me, “That was the first time I got to use ‘Wife’!”
(…Almost forgot! We stayed in Casitas 5, 4th Floor. It was perfect & quick trip to the hub, as Tim had assumed)

The first time I went to Disney I was five and my grandparents took my cousin and I. We stayed at Coronado springs , and I almost drown in their pool and my grandma had to jump in in all her clothes to pull me out 😅🤣 I'm now 27 and that's one of my first memorable memories haha. Congratulations on the pregnancy! I am almost 16 weeks with a baby girl! My first pregnancy after also not thinking I'd be able to have children. Due in April 💜

I had that happen to be when I was 7. It was a non Disney hotel. But I remember it strongly to this day. It was 1973. Second year Magic Kingdom was open. I was walking on my tippy toes and a big heavy guy bumped me and I started drowning. My dad dove in with his clothes on a saved me.

Oh this is making me so excited for my next trip! I’m going solo for the first time and staying at Coronado for the first time too! Being on my own for a whole week, I am anticipating lots of relaxing at the resort time. Those hammocks look like a good spot for an afternoon of reading!
22:00 - I hadn’t heard of Dahlia or Destino nor knew anything about Salvador and Walt hanging out making art together. Great tid bit of art history! 🫠❤🫠
An hour of just a tour of a hotel? Heck yes!
We loved our week at Coronado Springs in June 22. Our extended-family of 9 had 3 rooms in the Tower Club Level. We all thought the resort was beautiful, well-designed, excellent service, and convenient to AK, EP, & HS. The bus ride to MK & DS is a bit longer though. There is a 1-mile walkway to Blizzard Beach, but we didn't go there.
There are lots of different restaurants in Coronado Springs resorts. There is your ubiquitous Food Court and Grab & Go locations but there are other unique offerings too. Rix Sports Bar has great food, Three Bridges is very popular, Siestas Cantina has great pool-side food, and Toledo has incredible high-end dining. The club-level was an very nice enhancement that we all agreed we'd do again.
I love the resort tours you do, I could watch a Polynesian resort tour everyday lol. Seeing these places I've never been to is so much fun!
What a detailed tour of the grounds. I've never thought of staying there nor ever traveled to resort hop. An absolutely beautiful resort. You took us everywhere there.

Man I can't wait to get back in April, staying in the deluxe suite for the second time. Chronos Club is AMAZING.
We stayed in the Grand Destino Tower back in summer 2021 and it became my favorite Disney hotel. It is absolutely beautiful and I still can’t believe it’s a moderate resort and not deluxe!
Stayed there two weeks ago. Absolutely beautiful. We didn’t have a tower room, and the resort is massive. Ate at Toledo for my bride’s birthday. Wonderful. Several NA mock-tails on the menu, too.
Also, the way Tim says “yes” after pointing out the USBs in Dahlia like Gollum. Swoon❤
Me too! My niece and I were there Oct.9-14 love this resort! We always stay in the tower it was our 2nd stay. First time was 2021 and we dined at Three Bridges Bar and Grill and it was yummy didn’t get a chance this time.
We stayed at Coronado the first time we took our little family as an adult. Some of my greatest memories are from the resort. Picking up fruit and an individual wine after a long day when rix bakery was open all day, walking the long path to the dig pool, and finding a hidden mickey in the sand late late at night after they raked it. Such a magical feeling for me remembering Coronado... Thanks for rekindling that feeling when I needed it most 🥰😘

We loved this resort, it’s so beautiful. Stayed during the holidays and Feliz Navidad is etched into our brains forever😂😂😂
One thing I learned by watching various Disney UA-cam vloggers is don't sleep on the kids' meals. Disney's portions are quite big so they're a good option if you are looking for a good value. I got the kids'meal chicken tenders from Good's Food to Go at OKW during my pool time.
I just stayed at yacht club with my husband in September for a week. It was standard room. Club level. The room was exactly the same as Coronado 🤷♀️. It was great

We are super excited! We will be staying here next week! Our first time staying there was in 2018 when they were actually building the tower. So it will be cool to see it finished this time. ❤

Thank you for showing around older restaurants of Coronado springs resort. I used to worked at pepper market as floor manager. Even though they have changed a lots of things, brings me back those memories.
We stayed at coronado the first time I took my little family as an adult. Pepper market was our go to because with two littles it was easy for lunch and dinner I have many fond memories of pepper market too 🥰
We stayed there in the Tower and liked it. Easy access to the room, restaurants and shop. The only issue I had was the pool was like swimming in sweat. I asked them why it was so warm in the pool and they said they heat it to 90 degrees. After spending a day in 100 degree weather I wanted to refresh. Not in that pool. It’s more refreshing in the jacuzzi. They had nice restaurants there though. The main one, Mexican and our favorite the bars food. The bar is open late so after the parks we’d eat there.
this is the first time ive seen jens hair back to red and i gasped, she is so so so beautiful oh my gosh.

When I first came across my first Tim Tracker video, he was giving a resort tour. I thought, ‘ Darn he talks a lot’. But the info he gives is informative.
I stayed there the last two years. We loved it. I’m a clean freak and the room was immaculate.
We stayed in the Casitas 1 last year and it was very similar to the tour you gave of the rancheros! It was so close to the El Centro. Great location. I love this resort!
Granted I’ve only stayed at 3 Disney resorts… but this was my favorite by far. Love this moderate resort. Stayed here when my daughters were 10 and 11 and also when 15 and 16 and they loved it both times.

Absolutely LOVED this resort, just stayed in room 903 of the tower, it had a perfectly centered view of the Expedition Everest and you could see the ride vehicle ascending the track! Three Bridges makes a delicious burger and the chicken wings are amazing
Have stayed this year in Gran Destino tower Club Level. So amazing! A great room with great view. Club Level was nice too.😃
I just watched and commented on your room tour posted 8 months ago of the room in the Ranchos section. I liked that room because it had a tub/shower combo but also love the shower design more in Gran Destino Tower room. We are planning to stay at Coronado Springs and now have a decision on choosing which part to stay at. Thank you so much for posting this update! Congratulations again on your new baby boy and can't wait to "meet" him this Spring!

Yeah! Love an update! My sister and I did a split stay so we could go to Sangria University (do not need to stay here to go to SU). We stopped at the beautiful entrance to take in the smell! Get the Bon Bon coffee at the Barcelona Cafe if they have it. Would love to know where to get copies of the artwork specifically the one of Walt and Mickey! It was lovely to walk around and our room in the Gran Destino faced the front of the resort and roomy. Fell in love with the mattress and pillows! The only negative for me was if you wanted to go to the Parks or Disney Springs you had to go by bus.

We are so excited to stay in the tower next year (first time at that resort)! We ate at Three Bridges earlier this year, and it was pretty good. Definitely want to try Toledo this next trip.

Just got back from Coronado Springs a couple of weeks ago. Our first time staying there and it was a little biased because I had recently broken my foot but with the check-in at the tower now the Casitas don't really feel like they are a "preferred" buildings anymore. Such a peaceful resort though.
Love the resort tour’s Tim…if possible can you do Caribbean Beach next as it has had the some of the most changes since last walk through..

I grew up staying at All Star Sports and Shades of Green. Stayed at POP year I got Engaged and AKL for Disneymoon.
All star Sports for my Son's 1st trip in 2017. Hopefully a trip in 2024 is in the works

Darn I was just in Orlando Tim and had no idea hotel clothes lines had that function. Makes sense lol thank you for the info.
I have stayed at Gran Destino tower 2 times once in 2021 and once last month (October 2022) I love staying here, it’s a beautiful resort, and some good restaurants too. Their prices are very decent also for rooms. It’s closer to Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. The towers decor is based off the movie that Salvador Dali and Disney did called “Destino”, it’s a Spanish,Ancient Mexican theme. There isn’t a whole of of Disney up in your face which doesn’t bother me u get that enough in the parks.
Going there for our big family holiday on the 16th November, we've usually stayed at Port Orleans & loved it there!

I toured the original part of Coronado shortly after it opened, and didn't care for it - seemed there was no part that was close to both the main area, and the pool. Loved the theming and landscaping though, it was gorgeous. I will say if I ever stayed there now, I would definitely want to be in the Destino Tower for just that reason. Looks pretty expensive though (then again - what ain't at WDW these days?).

I stayed at Gran Destino for a week last year- thanks for bringing back some great memories! I loved Coronado Springs as a whole, but the tower itself was a whole other level of excellence. It's such a gorgeous building, and I don't have a single complaint.
Also, I LOVED how there were hidden Mickeys everywhere! The artwork, the giant one in the stained glass behind the bar, the one in the lobby... it was perfectly subtle, but perfectly Disney.
Fun fact: Walt was actually the one into trains. He actually created a park full of big model trains that kids could ride on (aka the first iteration of the Disney Parks)

Love the updated tour as Disney does make changes and updates all the time! While this is a huge resort it looks like there are areas for just 'relaxing' and enjoying the ambiance. It would be nice if you did a best resort for those who have physical issues such as not being able to walk far or wheelchairs or whatever. Now that I'm an 'old person' I'm finding walking a lot at a resort means I can't walk much at the parks. I'm worn out before I get there.
