I feel like i can't say this often enough, i really appreciate the work you put in the video, you drive all the way through and walk a big part of it all so to put up and get the camera. Awesome video and it is so beautiful there in the snow :) Meanwhile the spring is already here in Iceland, +5 to +10°c and raining :)
Know If I'm watching you guys made it ! That creek/stream is a Widow Maker get cases of beer & lime and all the friends you got and replace it ? Know it's a truck full of money but 1" 2" stone in all the mud holes/steep patches on the ATV trail will add yrs to your back and state of mind !
Hey Ken, I've started filling a couple holes with rocks, and the rocks just sink down and I have to fill it again. It's annoying work. One day I'll do the whole trail, but it will probably take a couple months of solid work.
That bridge looked sketchy. I think Alicia should drive back to the cabin. Lol. Hopefully you stocked up on IPA'S and Captain. Enjoy your time together at the cabin!!! Cheers!!!
Wow! I’m amazed at your patience 😫 your wife must really love you to go through that on the trail. Guess I’d be a sissy..😞 I’d walk though! Your dogs are good Trail Blazers!! Sweet little Willow is so sweet! ❤️ they’re really healthy with all that running! How long is your trail? 3 miles?
Now that didn’t seem so bad! You made it look easy! I’m ready to get out to my cabin for a few nights it’s been a few weeks! Also I did end up getting a can am atv. I love it so far!
Raspberry Rock - Off Grid Cabin yes I agree I just don’t get out to my cabin as often as I’d like to. Next time I go out there for the night I’ll have to take videos! I have to cut and split firewood for the next season. Maybe I’ll have to do that the next time I’m out there.
Awesome video Russ! I was concerned about the bridge crossing but you had no problem whatsoever! You might need to wear lifejackets if the water level keeps rising!! lol
I assume that after you left her behind filming you tearing up the trail at 3:15 you went back and laid down your coat across the mud for her to step across. ;)
Actually, part of the problem is that the beavers moved downstream which has raised the water level and they also stopped upkeep on this particular dam....I'm one of "the neighbors" he mentions that work on fixing the damned thing every year.
Alicia you are a brave soul. Lovely time was had by all.
Magical winters at Raspberry Rock.
Always happy when your both together
Your wife has a lot f patience enduring your camera setups as you travel. Nice job!
Put down the beer and get some trail maintenance done there dude !!
Those two dogs can not have better place to be in,absolute play graund feel sorry for dogs in city, stay safe guys...
This is a dog's life for sure. We often wonder if they know how good they have it.
I have had a rough day today. Just life in general. FINALLY got to smile by watching this video! Cheers my friends! Cheers!
Thanks Morgan. Hope things look up for you buddy.

Thanks Arni. Actually Alicia is the one that suggested we do the video, she's the hero here ;)
enjoyed watching......about 22 years ago the water level in spring was 3 feet higher.....that was a wild spring....ice age for sure...
Thanks Debbie. Funny that two summers ago we had a bit of a drought and water levels were 2' lower than normal. Now they're about 1' higher.
AH Spring has arrived early !! lol
You wouldn't believe what it's like right now, Pat. Sunny, warm, most of the snow and ice has melted.
Great video Russ and Alicia.
Truly off grid. I enjoyed your trip vicariously. Must suck when you want to get a Big Mac though, ha.
Thanks Andrew. The single biggest thing I miss out here is ordering pizza.
Love to see the both together with the dogs in tow. Good vid, thanks, Jim
Thanks Jim, though we don't exactly tow the dogs LOL.
I wrote it wrong, Jim
Ooh Alicia looks good driving the ATV Russ !
Maybe time for her to have her own !!
She'll get more lessons when she gets herself a helmet!
What a beautiful spring day!
Thanks Ry. Did you see the card near the end?
The end cards?
Ah, the i card. Missed that. Thanks!
Quite the adventure. Wont be long now till you are both sun baking on the deck.
Ya Geoff, I can't wait. Supposed to be a really nice weekend coming up.

the adventure is half the fun
It's fun until you need to be somewhere fast.
What a great add for ATV's!!!! You should send this into Can Am!!!
I'm hoping to one day approach them for sponsorship. It's a great machine!
Nice adventure just getting of your own land" Cool"
Thank you for sharing.
Thanks Rudy.
I do enjoy your Channel.
Rock on !
Little disappointed you didn't bring the trailer, just for fun.
LOL it would have been a much different trip.
....seems like we in Timmins had similar weather, really greasy roads coming home from the mine on Monday morning, appears to be getting better now.
It's looking like a good weekend coming up, though.
That bridge looked sketchy. I think Alicia should drive back to the cabin. Lol. Hopefully you stocked up on IPA'S and Captain. Enjoy your time together at the cabin!!! Cheers!!!
We stocked up on a few things, there may have been beer. Alicia is going to practice more on the ATV but she needs a helmet first.
Awesome Russell.
Thanks again, buddy.

As your ATV is 4x4, how come you haven't got chains on the front too?
You need a Sherpa! Wow! 👍🏾😀❤️🇺🇸
Thanks Jeffry. I'm actually really impressed at what an ATV can do. Amazing machines.
LOL lots of fun
It was a good trip, all in all.
Awesome video Russ! I was concerned about the bridge crossing but you had no problem whatsoever! You might need to wear lifejackets if the water level keeps rising!! lol
Thanks Peter. It's kind of easy to see why my neighbours and I take a shot at improving the bridge every spring.
How far back is your cabin? Live watching the trek in and out on the outlander. What size is your outlander and how many miles do you have on it?
It's about 2.5 to 3km from the road which usually takes 20 to 30 minutes by atv. It's an 800 and has 4000km or so
Your 4 wheeler just crank right up with everything frozen over. Must be fuel injection. Nice.
It's a great machine, no kidding.
Wish my Honda RINCON would start like that, it’s a fair weather four wheeler. It’s get a tad cold you have to use starting fluid.. sad 😢
I have Honda Formans 04 models. Work horses but cold natured.
👍🐾🐾🐾🐾
Cheers Rick!

Naw I just carried her across the water and up the hill.
Any plans on fixing that old bridge Russ?
Certainly! We fix it every spring!
The water will shrink your little boy
Spring snow sucks
What happened to spring, eh?
Broke beaver dam I bet he is pissed.

What Pat said!
😁👌👍✌👍👍+++++++
