His performance felt more like watching a special guest on AGT or witnessing a superstar at a Grammy Awards show than that of a typical talent show contestant. In the future, this show and this season will fade into obscurity, while Gabriel's talent will continue to be celebrated. People will read his bio and exclaim, 'WHAAATT!!!? How could the audience of this show not recognize his incredible talent?
I agree with you. From the beginning, he warmed up the audience for the second part. He knows how to handle a song and where to put his vocal skills in it. That is what sets him apart. Because he understands that his audience knows what he is capable of, how to deliver the music is the most important thing. I also agree that his vocal range is extraordinary, but it's not the only thing that makes him shine. I believe that the emotion he conveys through music is the biggest point of impact on his abilities as a singer.
Yes Gabriel in his low register draws you in and this is my favourite song l am a Putri fan but he has won me over. This is so powerful and yes the emotion he creates is amazing. Yes he could sing plus he's a wonderful guy

Yes the lead up to the number was all. This is exactly why l prefer this mix and then his whistle and how he adjusted to fit into the slow build up and keep it subdued was perfect

I totally agree with you John. Gabriel is young but a long time experienced singer since 3 years old... This talent of knowing where and when is natural, it's harmonic ear. He feels the music, and knows where to add his personal signature... it takes one to know one. You know what I mean because you are an experienced vocalist. This takes a lot of hard work, and dedication, and soul man... without adding heart anyone can sing but this level of excellence requires a tremendous connection with heart. Great reaction man! I can't even conceive the idea that the he didn't go to the finals. Honestly, I can only think that Putri's fanbase (wich is HUGE, btw) have seen him as a threat and voted "against" him . That's the only thing that makes sense to me right now. The contestants that went thru are ok, but nothing compared with Gabriel. That's a shame, not only to Gabriel but also to Putri, who is very talented and deserves to compete with someone at the same level as her. I feel like it won't be a fair dispute in the end. I think it will take me some days to get over it, haha :(

Gabriel Henrique" 1h 24m 35s (it is all in portuguese, sorry). Gabriel would like to sang "I Want to Know What Love Is", but another participant (Lavender Darcangelo) already had sang it on the semi-finals, and the AGT production denied. Gabriel spent two weeks asking to sing "Stand Up", but the AGT production also denied it. Basically he did not had the option to choose the music on the semi-final. Anyway... Gabriel's performance was truly amazing and would deserved a spot on the finals.
