Love how you were able to twist the stereotype of a "pink, popular, "mean girl"" into something actually interesting and somewhat original. I was hooked the first second and the voice acting is actually so good, even the sound quality. The voices suit the characters so well too. The script/dialogue is amazing too. AMAZING!! AAH this is so well done. I must say, I'm never really interested in Gacha series/mini movies(eg. Music freaks, royal, fairy academy, etc), but I NEED A PART 2 for this. However I do recommend, background music and more sound effects!

A Mary Sue is generally just considered a character who is unrealistically perfect/free of flaws, it’s quite a broad definition though so I can see where you’re coming from aha

Most perfect characters in gacha all have a specific kind of look to them mostly it's between 2 designs but using a character design more associated with the definition "mary sue" does make sense.
When designing Mary and deciding on her personality I wasn’t specifically looking at Gacha main characters. Mary Sues come in all different varieties across different media. There’s only one requirement for a Mary Sue and that’s to be unrealistically flawless.
