I knew from the beginning that regardless of how the rounds went that BET wouldn't go with Sno simply because he is white. Ill Will is a monster but this whole battle was nothing but white bars. Bitch it's 2014,that 8 mile shit isn't hot anymore. Sno had the first two rounds easy, Ill got the 3rd easy. White bars and namedrops vs. a variety of bars. Sno got robbed and he knows it, you could see it on his face.
He used that angle to get the W but I looked past all of that and lyrically, Will edged him regardless. It was like at this point, people had gotten tired of listening to Sno because we had heard so much of him in a short period of time. This honestly should have happened at a larger event. I was thinking SM4. Sno did his thing but Will edged each round imo.
If that's the case then Sno wouldn't have made it to the finals..In all honesty, Sno made it this far not because of his bars, but, because of other rappers choking!! Lyrically, Sno isn't better then Danny Myers, Prez Mafia nor KG The Poet..He just lucked out because they all had bad chokes..Sno's bars overall are mediocre to ok at best..He spits a couple hot lines every now and then but, if you listen to what he says, a lot of his shit doesn't make sense..He has a long way to go before getting on the big stage!!! Don't get me wrong, I give this battle to Ill Will, 3-0, but I wouldn't say it was by a landslide. Sno had bars, but the issue was that they were repetitive, which Ill Will did a really good job of exploiting. I have to give credit to Sno for going through the entire tournament without forgetting his material. Also, I think it was smart on Will's behalf to keep the majority of his name flips in a single round, otherwise he could have been viewed as repetitive as well.
