Minor details, dialogue/verbal lines are not coherent. Needs more care when using these details and lines/dialogue, or more refinement. Adam Cheng the character of head investigator spoke a silly line when photos of the pregnant dead girl with her boss who is also his friend was presented. He said something like "oh, it is not unusual for them to take a photo together since she was his secretary". It is like Adam Cheng's character was temporarily out of service 😵💫. A lead investigator should not say this. Moments ago he, the lead investigator, noticed that photos had been removed from displaying on the mirror. It is not unusual to take a photo with your boss, but to have the photo not in a photo album with other photos is a bit strange. These photos just fell out of somewhere and picked up by one of the cops. At this point, I would wonder if he (Adam Cheng's character) is the bad cop. Is he trying to cover up for his rich buddy the dead girl's boss? Is TVB script trying to give the audience something to ponder about? I would wonder, but I didn't, because Adam Cheng is known to not be casted in this type of role (the bad guy that will hide his bad...the scheming 😁 but not too intelligent 😑 bad guy.) I also already know which character is likely on the protagonist team and which character is likely on the antagonist team...having read Wikipedia on this series. So I am not pondering. I wish Adam Cheng the actor had given input to the director and writers...that this scene is at best a B- rating in film and cinema, which is almost always based on a coherent and non-surreal script at Hong Kong TVB. No 😵💫 at Hong Kong TVB. Somehow I feel that everybody's including my own intelligence had been downgraded having watched the scene of investigation at dead girl's apartment. I think the direction is trying to make everyone in the series so far seem less intelligent but more ordinary or average. During a real life investigation, investigators cannot be their lesser intelligent and ordinary off-the-job self. Are less intelligent people nicer? But being nice --- one may have to lower one's own intelligence at times. Otherwise, niceness may not surface. Intelligence is somewhat measurable, and controllable. Emotion - is there some measure? It is more difficult to control and define. You use intelligence/intellect to control intelligence and emotion. Emotion is only used to manipulate another, and to remind ourselves that we are human and not a dog or a cat. Who would want to be manipulated? I prefer to be under control than under manipulation. Manipulation has no end. So try not to get into situations that promote lots of emotions...and unnecessary emotions, unless your own intelligence/intellect can keep it in check.
Although a serious drama, this series is common TVB cartoon-ish. But I like and don't mind its cartoon-ish style. Chi-lam's character, a young but in-charge police investigator has to get monthly allowance from his well-meaning sister. 🤭. His time to purchasing his own home is closer. I hope he will enjoy his home. Hong Kong is infinitely too far from free land (unoccupied land, vacant land), that it had to extend its land by filling the ocean with sedimentary particles/cement/dirt/etc. to build on. And people actually live in these hi-rise buildings. Are humans lucky to be intelligent/evolved enough to do this? It would have been better and more progressive if a big country like Canada with no land scarcity issue in the 80's could grant a small piece of land of which Hong Kong can expand/build. Anyway, Hong Kong became China in 1997...too late.
剧本真的写得太好了 每个人的背景,个性,为人处事的态度,矛盾点都刻画的细腻入微

I think Adam Cheng's character is related to Yep's family?
Thankyou TVB for uploading this Cantonese drama, been waiting for this drama.. Thankyou so much for sharing 🙏🙏🙏🙂👍
帅哥云集啊
捞家好帅啊
我也觉得。真不明白为什么他演戏10多年才红
潘志文到中年还是这么靓仔,最靓仔的是大地恩情啊享。😂😂
I don't know who is teacher 嘉義 . I am sorry because I don't know chinese. I really love her face - 嘉義
好戏!
Bring back memories
I am disappointed Adia Chan's 陳松伶) name was not listed on the banner since she is the main character in this drama.
