Alternatively you could stick the shade to the top of the wood window sill, rather than to the glass window. In this way the blinds will hang down in front of the window which avoids the gap at the top and achieve a more uniform presentation.
Glass is a bad choice as with constant sunlight the glue properties will weaken over time, however in this case putting in a windows sill is another bad option unless you are ok with paint getting ripped off once you plan on removing these. I would probably stick on the outer metallic window frame where the paint is acrylic and does not come off easily.
Didnt know they had black out ones. I work graveyard shift and this is going to be perfect in my bedroom along with my black out curtains. Hoping in the car not to home depot. thanks
