About the cost of your courses, it is expensive for the people who can not afford it. The people who are working at minimum wage and other people who cannot afford university come to platforms like udemy and youtube and creators like you to get into the industry. And for many of those people $400 is like 1/5th of their monthly income. Many people in the US drop out of college because they cannot afford tuition. Also there are many people who want to get into IT and won't be able to afford 400.
The main problem with the comment of price is it's standardized irrespective of where people are from and avg salary like you mentioned varies with respect to country. So may be more dynamic pricing and students discount will help it to a larger audience

I have seen such telegram invite under my comments on this channel.
But it is common in other channels also. Those guys usually use the same picture as is official picture on channel, and just use similiar name (like telegram username for contact).
I guess it is kind of mass scam, and I would not be surprised if it's an automated bots' job.
