This card is beautiful and elegant. You take the jitters away with doing the paint washing and embossing with large stamps for all. This is awesome! Thank you for sharing your techniques.
I like it! Fast and easy but says allot when finished. I love these hot foil sentiments as they're so intricate and love how it cuts out the "swoops". Thanks.
Hi Cathy! Thank you so much for a wonderful video tutorial! Love the way you combine so many techniques and show us how you use these tools that often look intimidating to many of us. Happy and blessed 2024!🎉
I have to say Cathy, I wasn’t really liking this at first. But once you cut it down, & keeping the bit of white in the panel, it really turned out lovely. Just shows that we need to keep going forward because the end result is so different from the beginning. Thanks for another great video, & the wonderful inspiration. 🙂
Beautiful! Thank you for sharing this technique. Doing swooshes of colot really made this card less complicated than trying to color in the background. I will definitely be trying this technique!!
Wow! I am so impressed by your Misti! It is so incredibly clean! Mine looks the same way. They are so easy to keep clean if done on a regular basis right after you use them. I have seen some tutorials where the Misti that was used made me cringe because it was so filthy. I really commend you for yours being so clean. Also, I own a stack of these Simon says background stamps and I love them. I do the exact same thing you did, sometimes in gold sometimes white or black or even silver. I tend to use my brushos to color them in. The Brushos or any other brand name of pigment powders makes gorgeous backgrounds once you have the pattern embossed on the paper. Thank you for all your great videos! ❤
Thank you for all the ways to not color images! Love this card. I usually stay away from the big flower stamps b/c I feel they involve coloring. You have opened my flower world. 😂 Thank you.
The color swishes turned out beautifully! This is a card to just look at and admire for a while as it sits on the mantle or on a table. TFSharing, Cathy! 🩷💌
Also Thank you for tagging your snips! Ive been curious what all the "pros" use to snip their dies. Im just getting into die cutting and have seen many different types and sizes of snips. TFS!
I’m I the only one who loves watching someone heat embossing anything😂 also I got a team song for this video instead of wip it wip it good it’s flick it flick it good
Cathy! Brilliant idea on taping your paper to the paper! Wow! I have been watching just haven’t been commenting. Thought I would give you a break. Lol JK. Your the best!
Lovely card, Cathy. I like the ease if the way you added color to the background stamp. I sometime overlook those highly detailed background stamps because of all the intricate coloring involved. Now I see possibilities!
Love this! One day I figured since I had all my embossing stuff out, I would make lots of copies, but then didn’t want to paint them all. This idea is perfect!
Beautiful Cathy! Came out gorgeous!! Love the quick and easy colour approach. I overthink things far too often! How liberating just to swish on some colour! Gorgeous result xoxo
I love this technique, Cathy! I'm horrible at coloring so avoid those big open image stamps, but now I think even I can color them thanks to this tip. Thank you!! (PS, when picking up the larger pearls with the wax tip come at it from the tip of the wax to the top of the pearl straight down instead of on an angle and it helps.)
Beautiful card Cathy! That is a gorgeous stamp and I’m getting closer to hot foiling because of you. You are an inspiration. Thanks for what you do and being real.
It looks so beautiful! I wasnt too sure about using the white/unpainted areas of the card, but that turned out beautifully after it was cropped down! The contrast makes it more dynamic! Love it CZ!
Beautiful card! I Love the gold foiling. I don't know why but I get really scared to foil. I guess I've had too many disasters BUT I will try again. I think my problem was I didn't know the difference between foils and that's very important to know.🤔
Cathy, I love watching your videos. I have a few questions-what brand of stamp pads do you recommend for someone just beginning to build their collection? I have a Gemini and a diamond press for die cuts. If I want to try heat foiling do you have to have a spellbinder die cutting machine? I appreciate any advice you can give. Thank you
Oh my, there are so many great ones out there, to be honest. I would start with dye ink pads, companies like Gina K. Designs, Simon Says Stamp, to name a few… make wonderful dye (water based) inks. Concord & 9th… honestly? All of the small stamp companies who have ink lines make quality products! As far as heat foiling, I know that they used to make one for the Gemini and maybe they still do? They may have discontinued it though. But I know they made a hot foil system plate set up!
Hi Cathy! As usual, love your card… did your Misti come with the mouse pad or was it an additional purchase? What is its purchase? I assume to help the stamp image look crisper? Thanks!
Fairly n3w to your channel i think, sorry short memory. To be honest, thought it was a hot mess when paint first went on, thought paint was to thick. Then you started to work your magic and oh boy,, what a beautiful card you created. Also adored the sound effects with pearl placements. Thank you for shariny your talants. Friend gave me hot foiling machine but no 'dies' to actually hot foil. Any ideas where i can buy them please?
You have to sneak up on those big pearls. Your card turned out to look very elegant. I love the way embossing looks.
Perfect swirly twirlie's love the card...nail polish envy

Beautiful card Cathy, love the color combo and the sentiment on the inside it was just the perfect touch! Thanks!
Beautiful in gold and flicking paint!! Love your inspiration!! Haven't foiled yet but gf has one!!
Soft colors. Never ceases to amaze Mr how the same products can create such different looks. Peony and sunbeam are so bright, but here they look soft.
Beautiful! It’s also fun to wet your card base first & let the colors run where they want. 😊❤️
Love this💖💖💖
Hi Cathy! Thank you so much for a wonderful video tutorial! Love the way you combine so many techniques and show us how you use these tools that often look intimidating to many of us.
Happy and blessed 2024!🎉
I use Pink Easy See tape and my stamps are mostly clear photopolymer! I list all supplies in the description of each UA-cam video for you!
I just found it…thank you Cathy! You are awesome…a true inspiration.💖🤗
So good! I would have never thought of that. And it is gorgeous! Thank you for teaching!!

Thank you! Yeah, I often don't know where it's going… and always secretly hope it's not a hot mess.
Love the card😊❤
Glad I waited to see the final project!
Love this. Thank you for showing an easy way to color.
Hi. Thanks for sharing your lovely card, fast and fabulous and of course it would not be complete without the boops. Have a great day. 😊
You, too!
What a great technique! It is amazing what you think may not work out and how well it actually does!! Paper Greatness!

Love the flickering of the colours with the embossing. Also Cathy where did you get such a large roll of tape and what did it cost? ❤
It's this bad boy:

The swoop of the E in the word love matches nearly perfect the swoop of the flower petal just to the upper right of it. I notice things like that 🙄😉
I love all ur ideas!!
This card is the bomb! Those colors you chose are spring-y cheerful! TFS, Laura. 🌈 💌
Such a great technique! Beautiful card. And I loved the pearly sound effects! ❤
Beautiful card - thanks for the great idea for the background
Gorgeous! ❤ Thank you Cathy!

Oh it has taken me a LONGGGG time to figure it out! hahaha. It can be tricky, in my opinion!

Hi Cathy! As usual, love your card… did your Misti come with the mouse pad or was it an additional purchase? What is its purchase? I assume to help the stamp image look crisper? Thanks!
That was an extra purchase! It just replaced the paper pad insert that comes with it! I have it linked in the description.
@@czdesign thank you!
