- Are Nice CNC quick flip mirrors better than Double Take mirrors? I think so and really like the Nice CNC mirrors on my Suzuki V-strom. They might be the ultimate adv motorcycle mirrors.

I really like these mirrors. They made riding more pleasurable because they reduced the wind noise a lot. Thanks for watching.
I asked that question about smashing your hand on your short. 😂
@@spaztech I remember. I should have given you a shout out 👊
These are interesting. Thanks for sharing them with us.
No problem. Thanks for watching. 👊
GREG !!! - Nice addition and they look way better than the stock ones. Great review video !!!
Cheers !!!
Dane!
I think so too. Thanks Dane! I really appreciate it. 👊
Dane the DR Dominator!@@ParallelCamper
Look much nicer than the double take mirrors.
Getting rid of the stock V-Strom mirrors fixed my buffeting.
I really couldn't believe how much quieter the ride is. I'm really happy with them.
A nice alternative for mirrors Greg, those stock Suzuki Dumbo ears mirrors do churn up some bad buffeting when riding. Thank you for the information.
They have been serving me well. Thank you for watching. I really appreciate it 👊
Nice to reduce the wind noise and they do look good.
They helped a lot and I think so too. 👊
I have a set of their saddle bags and they are quality product. Mirror looks great
Awesome. Thanks. I am very happy with them. Thanks for watching and commenting. I really appreciate it 👊
Those look great on there
Thanks man. I really like the look and they make the ride a lot more quiet.
Thanks, found the vid. Good job. I don't like the Double Take mirros either. If you tighten them enoug to be steady they break very easily. Leave them loose and theflop around plus they aren't clear. Have them for my T7 switched to a folding mirror like those but big pricey but worth it. Mount much the same in the handguard mount. I'll check those out for my R9T UGS.
No problem. Thanks for watching. I really appreciate it 👊
Ive borrowed a friends bike for two days that had the doubletakes. And like you I really liked the function....but the form...ugliest mirrors on the market. And for me I have to have form and function. Im just a stickler that way. And looking at those ugly things all day would just take away from my riding experience. For the low cost I am gonna give the cnc mirrors a chance. Theyre so cheap theres nothing to lose really.
I'm big on form and function too. If it works good but looks ridiculous I'm not going to use it lol. These mirrors have worked great for me and I really like how they look. If you give them a try let me know what you think about them.
Those are nice!
👊
G'day mate pretty handy for the trails mite try something like that on my 650 Strom 👍🇭🇲
Thanks. It's definitely a lot of fun. 👊
Man, with all the modifications and such, I'll stick with my Doubletake. I've yet to put them on the new bike yet. Trying it stock for a while.
I love to modify my bike but it's just 2 holes that have to be drilled in most handguards. I know a lot of people like the doubletake and I'm sure they work well.👊
Pretty sure suzuki stock mirrors are the same mirrors Ford uses on the superduty!
😂🤣 I think you're right
They look like good mirrors. I’m waiting until I break the ones I have before I buy a replacement….
That's a good idea. That's why I don't have a lot of upgrades on my bike because I don't want to spend the money if I don't need to 😁👊
@@TheBeardedGrump exactly!
what about warranty? I have busted 3 Doubletakes, and they quickly sent replacements, no questions?
I broke one and they sent me a new one no questions asked. This kit is a 1/3 of the cost of doubletake mirrors and if you just buy replacement mirrors from Amazon they're even cheaper. So you could replace them a lot before you added up to the cost of 1 pair of DoubleTake.
Any reason not to mount the bracket on the outside of the handguard to eliminate the interference with your hand?
You could but it would probably put it in the crash zone and it would be more prone to damage.
Nice looking, but I wouldn't be able to use my Hippo Hands mitts in the winter with those.
Yeah they wouldn't work with those. Luckily it doesn't get that cold here
@@TheBeardedGrump It probably doesn't get that cold here either. I'm just a sissy.
I ordered these and were terribly disappointed. Even red loctite was not enough to keep the mirror from unscrewing and loosening. Now I have 2 useless holes in my barkbusters.
I had the same issue with the Nice CNC mirrors. That's why I bought some different ones on Amazon. The Nice CNC ones use wood type screws to hold the mirror tight and it's not a good design. The ones I have on the bike in this video have machine screens and they work perfectly. I recently had a crash. Me and the bike went off a 150ft embankment and the mirrors didn't break and the barely moved. I have a link in the description for those mirrors. I think there 15 bucks.
nice points wind noise sucks
Thanks. Yes it does. 👊
Doubetake work great, however, I agree they are bulky and ugly! - Frank
I figured they work great. I just don't like the look of them at all. That's the dirt bike guy In me I guess. 😁👊
FRANK !!!
Frank!
FRANK!!
Why does nobody talk about the fact that mirrors need to be convex, the NiceCNC ones are not, you can barely see anything since everything looks huge.
They work fine for me.
Yikes. Those seem terrible. What a poor design.
They work great for me. I haven't had any issues with them
