The thing was an absolute dog beforehand. When I finally get a tiny right angle tool, I'll do more work to the upper transfers, and I think a timing advance might help as well. But for now, it's great compared to stock.
Rich fife cut the base for me. I'm running a copper base gasket with about 19 thousandths squish. When I get home to my book, I'll give you the timing numbers.
I ended up 102 exhaust 125 transfers 76.5 intake. Initially it had 180 psi compression cold and dry. I suspect it's closer to 195 now but haven't checked.
