I actually remember seeing it at the theater when I was a kid. I didn't remember much, but remember thinking it wasn't anywhere near as good as Clash of the Titans.
Forbidden Zone is just wonderful. And Motel Hell? Just a landmark 80’s cult horror movie that finally found its audience at the dawn of the VHS rental era.
Saturn 3 - "Yes, you have a beautiful body, may I use it?", "I'm with the major.", "For his personal consumption only?!!" Battle Beyond the Stars - "It's your torque bar.", "My torque bar?", "It's slipped its groove." Humanoids From the Deep - They remade this for the Roger Corman anthology on Showtime. The original is better. "Hey baby, wanna see my woodpecker?", "Will I get splinters?", "Nah baby, I've been sanded." Death Ship - I love this movie and used to watch it whenever it turned up on TV. One time, a local channel aired it at like 11pm, completely uncensored. That must have been a mistake, or they got complaints because when they aired it again a couple months later, it was the cut version. "I'm scared.", "You're scared? I'm scared shirtless.", "That's shitless. Oops!" Galaxina - R.I.P. Dorothy Stratten. "The Blue Star!", "Da-Naaah!" Forbidden Zone - "The queen promised to ream us with 20-inch cattle prods, and I'm still waiting!" Motel Hell - "Meat's meat, and man's gotta eat!"
So before Naked Gun we have Leslie Nielsen in the Poseidon Adventure and Creepshow. Plus, Geoege Kennedy in Creepshow 2 and Death Ship. Also both of them playing captains in their respective boat movies.
80s vault please help me with remembering at least a 2 part horror movie and came on tv in the late 80/early 90s. I remember a scene where the main protagonist reminded me of Kirk Douglas but wasn’t him. He was like a detective? He was helped by a woman who was like a psychic? Or alien. She was in a helicopter and had a vision or something and told the pilot to turn around. Meanwhile in some random building in a school or building an old man wrote vigorously on a chaulkboard just before mutating into a scary monster!
@ the body horror scenes are similar but it’s not it. I specifically remember an old man writing vigorously on a chalkboard just before turning into a monster. It reminded of the thing.
I believe this was one of those made for tv movies that had 2 or more parts to it. The main guy reminded me of Kirk or Michael Douglas but wasn’t him. And this main scene happened simultaneously to the other actress in this helicopter where it seemed like she was having a psychic vision of what was happening
I’ve seen Forbidden Zone. By far the most insanely weird movie ever made in my humble opinion. That said I watched it from start to finish & im embarrassed to say I enjoyed it in a weird, morbid curiosity kinda way…
Okay, I'm not even a minute in and saw clips from Forbidden Zone 💙That movie is my litmus test for how weird people want me to go with movie recommendations. *Also Richard Elfman directed it and Danny, his brother, did some music and some acting. ..."acting" There IS a color version and I suuuper recommend it in color.
I saw that 1970s? version of ghost ship 😂 yeah 😂 it's slow 😂 Bmovie 😂 there is a much better film with the same name 😮 early 2000s I think and that is a gory ghost story worth seeing 👍
Motel Hell is one of my all time favorite movies.
Loved Motel Hell! A classic, zany comedy horror, you wont ever forget
Super fuzz😂I gotta see that😂😂😂
Watch it, it's worth it. And you can watch don camillo with terence hill straight afterwards!
I actually remember seeing it at the theater when I was a kid. I didn't remember much, but remember thinking it wasn't anywhere near as good as Clash of the Titans.
I believe I have most if not all these movies. Super Fuzz was a favorite in my younger days. I even own The Apple. I miss the 80's.
I've seen Motel Hell so many times! 🤣
I'm sad ( or happy ) to say I haven't seen any of the others !
Forbidden Zone is just wonderful. And Motel Hell? Just a landmark 80’s cult horror movie that finally found its audience at the dawn of the VHS rental era.
THE CHILDREN! I KNEW I DIDN'T DREAM THAT MOVIE!
I forgot about The Apple. It's pretty cool!

I am pretty sure that Danny Elfman finally realized that he was embarrassed to have The Forbidden Zone in his history.
The monster in Monstroid looks like a hand puppet i used to have as a kid
Anyone remember "Super Scary Saturday" on TBS with Grandpa Munster as the host?
He showed "The Children" one week. That movie was creepy AF.

None of these lists of movies of this sort ever includes "Street Trash" and that's just really damn sad..
Well, there are 100s of B-movies, so it might take some time to get to it, but it’s now on my list!
@80sVault it's definitely a mind-blower!
Forbidden zone looks fun😂that little guy from fantasy Island and or James bond in there😂👍
Be careful with forbidden zone, don’t attempt it sober

Maybe your describing Xtro II: The Second Encounter, The Borrower or METAMORPHOSIS: THE ALIEN FACTOR...?
@ no I don’t. Think so but I’ll go look them up to see
