Even though I'm usually the first to declare my profuse detest for woody ambers, there are some like cashmeran that don't bother me at all if dosed appropriately. Geza Schon's Escentric 05 for instance is a strangely addictive chemical concoction. SACC for short. 🍒😂 Chemically speaking, despite cashmeran's polycyclic construction, all the large methyl groups around the pentane ring act as a buffer to soften the blow on the receptors so it doesn't burn like many of the others. In fact, it smells more akin to the soily must off of mildew turned into a fabric softener than acetone or isopropanol. 🤣 In fact, whoever named it after a textile hit the nail on the head. Really does remind me of closeted clothing. Appreciate the impressions!
Great reviews. Wearing a sample of Bangla Yasaman now. It really creates a cloud. Lovely. I;'l be buying it. Will definitely try the other two as well!
I tried, from a free sample that came with my L'Artisan Parfumeur birthday pressie from Mr M of Tea for Two (new version and still love it) their new release - Il Etait un Bois. The reason I mention it here is that it very much reminded me of Le Flocon de Johann K. I liked it but sadly it seems to be lacking body and flair.
Fab review as always. I've got these three samples and my favourites are Bangla Yasaman and Johann K. The Yasaman is quite an odd scent to me. Definitely spicy, almost curry leaf like, but I really like it. Johann K I find to be mainly minty, icy, like breathing cold air on a frosty/snowy day. Milky Dragon isn't for me. The creaminess is too thick.
amazing video man! I have a quick question, if your bottle of french lover has any amber woods in the drydown? because I have a sample of one of the newest batches, and in the dry down it just blast full on amber woods :(
@@RichMitch got it officialy from fredric malle shop in dubai mall in october last year and i was dissapointed as i heard a lot of good words abt it. But if yours is not like this then this is another step back of fredric malle....

I don't think I'll be buying any of these but I do appreciate the ideas and design

It is really thick! I've got no idea where I got the idea it was an incense?
I liked the creativity of these but I'm not so sure I'll be investing

Appreciate it man 🙏🏻
Thank you for these Duck. I’m really trying to be more open minded as far as giving more houses a shot especially with the state of things today 🍻
These are definitely worth a sniff imo
