- In 20+ knots wind conditions we tested the 2020 Duotone Rebel & Dice on it's jumping characteristics. The Rebel is a big air kite, the Dice is made for a more allround freestyle/wave oriented kitesurfer.
In this video we compare on land the Dice and Rebel plus the 2020 Duotone Neo. On the water we just had the possibility to check out the Dice and Rebel. Enjoy!

Depends what kind of kite characteristics you are looking for. One thing for sure the hangtime of the Rebel is excelent!

Nice review ;) Since having a new Duotone Evo 10m 2020 as my main kite and thinking of buying a 7m kite for high wind I am between 7m Dice or 7m Evo. Which one would fit me best for 22-30 knots wind {choppy water, hooking tricks(maybe unhooking in the near future) , jumps etc} ?
If you think about unhooking Dice for sure!
My current quiver of kites are 2017 rebels, I'm in the stage of learning jumping, so it is inevitable to front stall the kite sometimes, the switchblade has loads of good reviews regarding this, for a beginner like me which kite do you think is easier and more forgiving? Rebel? Switchblade? I gotta ask as there's no chance to demo the 2020 sblades where I live
The Rebel has the most performance, the Switchblade would be easier and more forgiven

@@Kitefinder mmmm actually that is very true, I'm kinda very used to the rebels and love how stable they are and how good the pull upwind. Hopefully the 2020 Evo are as good at that plus the ability that rebels lack

Hi Dennis, sorry to say but a Dice vs Torch review would be obvious. Torch is a C-kite (without bridles and more a power beast as a Dice with bridles. See it like Beauty and the beast :)

Shame you didn’t test the Neo on the twin tip as well. I’ve just swapped to them from Slingshot Rally’s and they make an amazing free ride kite which jumps well.

@@simonburch8762 We are depression depended if you want 18+ knots. If you have a hydrofoil 6 out of 7 days per week (15m and 27m lines)
@@simonburch8762 Why did you go for the Neo over the Evo? Are you predominantly at wave spots?
Robert Dalrymple no, it just has a really good low end, turns and drifts amazingly and loads of feedback on the bar. I foil as well but not tried them with the foil yet. Funnily enough I seem to be able to jump better on them as well. I’ve never tried an Evo, a friend who runs a kite school lent me a Neo (he said he thought it would suit me) and it just clicked.
