Hey Kelly, when I used to scuba dive a plastic bag helped me slip on my dive suit. Try using a plastic bag slipped over one leg then pulling that dive suit leg on, then the other and then each hand one at the time and you won’t have to use oil or the stuff you are using now. This will keep your suit free of oils or cream.
It is such a pleasure to watch you all hang out and share adventures and good food and company. Thank you for all the hard work that it takes to share it with us!
Friendly faces full of smiles, jokes and laughter, great food and contentment topped off with a warm breeze and salt air. This Floridian can think of no better way to spend Christmas. Thank you for bringing us along for the ride.
This is sooooo good. You and BlueGabe meet the best people everywhere you go. There not rich and famous but genuine amazing people that show us the coolest things about their cultures. Thank you so much. You guys break down walls that many many people have put up for some reason. Our news just shows all negative things about the US and other countries. And the truth is 99% of the people around the world are great people, just like you guys. I’m not going to lie though, I had to watch some older videos cause I’ve missed Jake; and Luke’s funny one liners. Thanks again for the videos. I watch them all with my kids. They always ask if you or Blue Gabe have a new video everyday more than once!!!!
That crab fishing in the holes of the reef is a lot like catfish noodling here in the states, the difference is that you can see what your after. What a great video Kelly!
That clip of you and that giant female tiger is my all time favourite clip in history of clips. Nothing is more epic than that. When I first saw that clip I fell in love.
You guys look like you're All having an Amazing time in Jamaica!!! Thank-you Kelly for ALL your videos this year and I'd like to wish you a very Merry Christmas and the very best in the New Year!!!
"Mithrax Spinossisimus, aka Caribbean King Crab, Channel Crab, or Channel Clinging Crab, belongs to the family Majidae in which there are approximately 700 species. Because many of the species have very long legs, they are also called Spider Crabs. ... The Caribbean King Crab is found from North Carolina to Venezuela."
Being a Floridian myself it was a pleasure to watch you guys catch and cook in Jamaica where I have been, but never had the pleasure of doing the same. Did partake of the results however ... among other things.
Lionfish is why I discovered Blue Gabe then Kelly Young eleven months ago. I heard Lionfish were invasive and on UA-cam I went through a journey to Blue Gabe filleting a Lionfish and from that Kelly. I love the content and thank you for the lovely escape my ennui of the 'global situation'. Thank You! Keep it up I watch every episode.
Love watching all the videos, but dangggg now you added Lauren in the mix. You know were going to want to be seeing her more often. lol . Not kidding. Also how long did it take you to build up your ability to hold your breath for so long. You guys make it look so easy.
BAD ASS Kelly ! Free dive excellence. So comfortable in the ocean. Grate camera work Lauren. Like I was swimming with you. Release responsibly, well done! The cook Trevor was the bomb.
Another great video......as always, Kelly. It saddens and frustrates me to see certain people or groups who continue to use harvesting methods that they KNOW are threatening fish or game populations. What do they think they're gonna do for a living when they've literally fished out their own waters? I remember down here in Melbourne Florida ( south/central Brevard county ) years ago, when we had a huge wave of commercial clammers invade the Indian River lagoon. For years, you would see these commercial clammers out on the river everywhere, using their bull rakes. They used those bull rakes to literally rip out all of our native sea grasses in the river. I was told by many locals ( I am a local too ) that most of these guys were from New York. I can't recall if local or state laws eventually put a halt on their methods, or if they simply made things so bad, there wasn't any viable clamming left to make any money on. That, along with run-off pollution really hurt our beautiful lagoon. It's been making a comeback......slowly but surely. I know for a fact that the area of the Indian River in Grant Florida ( just south of Melbourne ) used to be known as the shellfish capital of THE WORLD. As a kid in the early 70's, we used to have the finest oysters found anywhere, and there were tons of em. The old timers used to tell me that back in the 50's and earlier, the red fish were SO numerous, that you could look across the water and see a huge "golden/red shadow" moving along under the water stretching in every direction for HUNDREDS of yards.......that golden/red shadow was thick, gigantic schools of redfish, moving along, feeding on crabs & shrimp found all in the vast sea grass beds. Large GATOR TROUT were very common too. ( Now, you're lucky to see a gator trout caught only very rarely. ) I would've loved to have witnessed all of that myself. We moved down here in 1969, so I missed those sights.
You don't give up on anything Kelly! Good grab on the second try & you always make what you do look so easy! Thanks for the great video, it was wonderful! 🤙 😎
I miss warm water!!! Suppose to be in Thailand in February-March. Love the fresh seafood, but they don't let you do the harvest, but the locals bring tons in. We are in cold dark Oregon - we'll be scuba spearfishing and dungeness crabbing soon. Thank you Kelly. :) MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!
Takes me back to 1992 I spent two wonderful weeks on that beautiful island. Ochoa Rios and Negril, infact pretty much covered the entire north and west of the island. Could you provide a link to Lauren's page haven't been able to catch her last name to find her content? Love everthing you and Blue Gabe do have a very Merry Christmas and a joyous New Year.
Nice crab. In Panama we would catch these on the Atlantic side. We called them spider crabs. Not sure why the claws were so small. They do get very large. We would boil them, pick them, then make a huge batch of Caribbean style crab cakes. The luck of having family raised in the Trinidad and Jamaica. Those people could put a meal together. BTW, blue land crab is very good too if you've not tried them.
I absolutely love you and Gabe’s videos! Y’all are fun to watch and I feel like I can get to experience all the fun things y’all do. I’m a left arm amputee but used to be an amazing swimmer. I just wish that I could of experienced the ocean more before I lost my arm to a drunk driver. Can spear fishing be done with one arm? Also, being a huge shark enthusiast myself, how often do y’all experience sharks in the water? i just moved here to Louisiana not too long ago from California and still have yet to see my first live alligator! 🐊 If y’all come out this way, would love to have that experience with you guys! Lol May you all be blessed and may the lord keep you all safe and healthy this new year! ❤️🙏🏻 🦈 🎣 ✌🏻
Such awesome content! You and Gabe have most certainly become my favorite youtubers! How do I find the video of you swimming with the tiger shark in your intro? God bless! And Merry Christmas!

You should leave the poor crabs alone. You should hunt for Lion fish. The lionfish are wiping out all native species of fishes in all the oceans!!
