Tallen Westfall, I’m not an argumentative person so I’ll just urge you to cue up any ‘Tru-Start’ map. Resources are in the same spot every time and there is no ‘abundant’ option in the game set-up. One can only change disaster intensity and number of city states.

I feel like Potato’s second city (22:40) would have been better one tile down and to the left. Faster horses, can still buy the barb camp tile if he wants, AND that entire mountain valley is within 3 tiles if his city, with nowhere for the other Civs to settle that he won’t immediately aggro onto them for where they could take it. Sure, lose some early gold involving the luxury, but for Ghengis I would think having his Horse units online would be far, FAR more pressing a concern since there seems to be only one horse tile on the entire revealed map so far

But the strange thing is if I hover my mouse over the timeline, the little thumbnail that shows up as I scrub the time line seems correct, because it shows you at the main menu setting up a game.

we do use autotune for the reason you've stated - the "t-pain" sound. we also use it to make minor pitch corrections on just about every record that comes out these days. the plugins have just gotten so much better over the years that a judicious application is actually relatively difficult to hear even if you know exactly what to listen for. fwiw.

DBro168 Just like in WW II, giving concessions to a belligerent power only encourages further aggression. It makes you look weak to the AI to cave to pressure. If you want to maybe placate them, give them a gift of similar value to what they demanded on their turn. It might boost your relationship just enough to delay the oncoming war a bit.
so I am fairly new, and I have a question.. when you settle ON a resource OR place districtson them.. do you always get the luxure resource? and what about other yields like food and productions from bonus resources.. do districts keep them or erase them? (like a industrial zone on a stone field for example or a gouverment district on weed)
I just got Gathering Storm at Greenmangaming, it was on sale. I was a long time on the fence about CIV6 but I decided to get at least all the mechanics updates through that expansion. Depending on how much I enjoy playing it and on the content of the new Expansion pass I might get it all after some time. But I would definitley suggest Gathering Storm as a first buy after Vanilla CIV6.
It seems that a lot of people have interpreted "new district" differently than I have. People keep proposing entirely new district concepts and I think they might just be UDs of existing districts. I hope others are right - that would certainly be more interesting. Listing the new Civs' UU/UD/UB content seems a bit like double accounting. Regarding people's civ predictions... I've seen a few requests/hopes for Songhai and Carthage. IIRC, the empires of Songhai, Mali & Ghana are territorially similar and succeeded each other. And Phoenicia & Carthage are essentially the same people. It's similar to how the Maori and Polynesian civs are fairly analogous. I think we're going to get Civs that are more distinct from existing ones. They've already announced that they're addressing one of the most glaring omissions, Ethiopia/Aksum. * Saami, Lapp, Inuit and the like may appear as a Boreal People; * I think we'll get another civ from the Balkan or Caucasus, maybe Bulgaria; * Another raiding civ might be in the cards, maybe the Huns or Kievan Rus; * Assyria or Babylon could return for Mesopotamia; * Minoa could be a Mediterranean option if they want to try something old and new; * If anyone actually knew where Punt was it would be a grand choice to represent one of the most ancient empires! Sadly, this info is still lost to history. * There's room for another African or Asian people - lots of choices, too. Gran Colombia was the Union of Venezuela, Colombia and Ecuador back in the early 19th century. If I had to bet, I'd say Simon Bolivar should be the leader of that civ since he founded Gran Colombia and led the independence war against the Spanish Crown.
