The "80" speed limit on the van is not its technical rating, but its maximum legal speed. In Finland, small commercial vehicles, like vans or cars converted for carrying cargo and modified as such, get a tax exemption, but are also subject to a lower, 80kph, speed limit.

Tip: If you don't have the watch, carry the camera from the cabin with you. Take a picture with the middle mouse button. Right when it flashes, a date/time stamp appears in the lower right corner. It's a cheesy way to have a timepiece very early game.

Teimo restocks every Thursday at 00:00 but if you are in the area then he will not restock and if you get drunk guy back home quicker then he will give you more money and also if you have bear there for him
You can Also keep your thumb up until you get out of your cousins Car so he never goes to fast so its almost impossible to die while hitchhiking
3:30 that 80 kmh sticker is for tax reasons. A lot of vans, pickup's had those and also big american station wagons that were converted to so called "hidden vans" it was a very common practice in the 80's to lower your vehicle tax
The lore in this game is so rich
the oil pan and the block dont wear out, but they can break if satsuma overheats or we downshift at high speeds

If you hold K in Pena's car (Your cousin in the green satsuma) he will slow down, the alternative is cursing at him which makes him drive faster
Finally
if you driving the gifu down a Hill and your rpm go over 25 the gifu will turn off automatic
Happened to me and it had no fuel. Ended up losing it for a hot minute
Btw i just learned something new:D Do not, DO NOT tank the Hayosiko with PolttoÖljy, thr red one, Because then Eno will sell his Gifu, crap car to pay the taxes from tanking illegal fuel to the hayosiko, i had to mod the gifu keys to my save
If this happens to you, you have to put unclestage on 2 and Both gifufuellevel and vanfuellevel to 0, and the truck will spawn back.
Smoking also helps bring down hunger. I usually drink and smoke to make it go faster.
here is a tip don't have a barbeque inside, trust me I'm now living inside the empty shop next to Lindell inspection shop

If you die you can hold alt tab (which brings up every tab you have running on your computer) then click the X on the top right of my summer car to close it without saving.

Bonus trick I found out: you can keep food unspoiled even without a fridge. If you keep your food in the shopping bag even for a long time, after you click F and open an individual food there is a short time before it gets immediately spoiled. (PS: I don't know if it works with all kind of food, I only tested it with sausages.)

6:59 i usually press down the accelarator when starting the van, i dont know if its a placebo but it sure feels like it starts faster. Force of habit, i used to own an old t4 transporter and the electric motor (idk the actual translation) was absolutely fucked, and the car wouldnt start without the accelerator, i did eventually end up switching it out after it fully died and left me stranded on some random dirt road
Considering the van's from the late 80s it probably doesn't do anything, pumping the accelerator only helps if your car has a carburettor (like the satsuma)
I have always driven flat out in the blue van and have only ever got the speed wobble once. If it happens, just slow down or speed up until it stops and you will be alright. It is probably a lot easier to control with a controller tho which is what i use.
Its still quite easy to handle at 140kmh

Another one that might be obvious and one that I don't know if it was mentioned in the video: If your stress bar is high simply curse a lot by pressing m and n to make it slowly go down.

The glowplug things is a tad wrong. from a pure cold start holding the ignition starts it faster than waiting for the plugs.
if u want to stop the van just put the ignition to glow plug phase when u exit it, best trick.
and also when your riding with the green car you can press k to slow his speed from 80km to 60km

you can make sausage at the engine top it work but you have to give gas to heat it up
In the newer versions you can sheat death bij hoovering your mouse on the icon so the window above it appears and then you have to press the x on the top left of the window to shut down the game it has worked for me
Also, idk if u mentioned this in the video, but one thing I learned while checking the radiator is that you should not put you eye right down the radiator, as it might shoot out fluid into you eye and blind you just as much as hitting the bumble bee while going to fast on bike.

Also if at night you need to fill up fatigue you can turn on tv and look straight at the no channels picture to fill fatigue very fast

another tip, when getting the stock wheels, if you position the table in the door frame by the fireplace, you can stand on it and stick your head through the roof, letting you get the tires without having to dodging the wasp nest ( watch this video if youre confused : ua-cam.com/video/DED1pOdZObE/v-deo.html )

@@christianbennett5542 If you get unconscious by drinking at the pub when you made an order on wednesday, you will wake up on thursday and the post order will have arrived, but Teimo won't restock the store until next thursday. I think the dev patched this, but Idk
the time doesnt move by 2 hours every time you save and reload, it goes to the next even time. let's say its 10AM in game, you save and reload, then it becomes noon, but if it's 11:59AM in game, you save and reload, it will also become noon.
Maybe now a rally tips?

For hayosuko starting, I disagree: it's faster to start it "bad way" as the time you wait is longer if you use "the good way".. Like you lose 1 or 2 seconds using "good way" so...
But if you've waited for the hayosuko to heat up once, it will stay that way until you save again and it will immideately start without having to heat up again though.

also i think many people don't knw the trick to lower their thirst by pressing urinate and watch up the sky so doing your thirst will reduce
He did that in part 1
if you pee on the traintracks it will electrocute you and kill you. also if you want to avoide the wasps while getting the stock satsuma tyres, enter the house and go upstairs and stick all the way to the far left wall and moving out a tiny bit to avoid the beams that get in your way. then just throw the tires out the window and do the same thing on the way back. i use this method every time and i never even bother the wasps.

The "start diesel engine faster" is complete BS though. Sure, the engine starts faster, but you are still telling us to wait for it to heat which takes time. Don't know where you were going with that.

This is a bit of an unrelated note but my satsuma has really low torque and can barely go walking pace in 1st gear, however it can rev up in neutral. Do I need to replace the clutch disc or something else? This is my first time starting it up, and I followed your tutorial, I've also replaced the rockershaft to stop the clicking.

@@YEETyAU also I'm not quite sure how to tune the distrbuter as even when I wind it all the way up it fails to make the squeaking noise, and even then adjusting it is really tedious cause when I change it my engine turns off.

Im pretty sure the 29th fact is false because if you hold the ignition before waiting for the glow plugs to heat up the car starts basically the same speed if not faster if you wrre to wait for the glow plugs to heat up because while youre holding the ignition youre technically still waiting for the glow plugs to heat up
You basically are explaining that the car indeed starts up faster. Obviously its about the time after turning the key for the motor to start.

Might be you need to let the glow plugs warm up, as it's a Diesel. Or maybe you need to turn the yellow strobe light on.
It's the low air pressure warning. The brakes are locked on if the pressure is too low. You should wait for the light and sound to stop revving makes this quicker.

1yr late but it just happens randomly at any point in the game assuming hes not dead and your phone is plugged in, with electricity

They come at a 50% charge so you most likely have to charge and keep it in the charger when not using it. Otherwise the battery goes bad over time
