Filip Raboch Wanderer as a in flight personal item bag

I am loving my FR Wanderer. It is such a versatile bag. I used it as my carry-on personal item bag for a long BOS to HKG flight. This is the review right after I got off the plane.

Great review ! Did you consider ecopak fabric instead of ultra before ordering this backpack?

I am a huge fan of Ecopak. However for this bag, since it is such a custom bag, Ultra is more "special" at least for me.

Hey! Another question, did you consider getting ula camino? I am confused between these two packs. Wanderer and camino

while the two share some common feature: roll top, front access, they are very different bags. One is a ultralight, large pack for hiking. The other is a much small bag for EDC use, laptop storage, more admin areas, QAP, etc. The Wanderer is also design and hand made by a single person. It is more of a special item. I love my ULA Dragonfly, but the two brands are otherwise diferent.

@ yes! I love wanderer ! I sent an email to filip, currently he is not ready for any size customization, so I am thinking of having a custom ula camino exactly like wanderer with big capacity and max load of 18 kgs vs wanderer’s max load of 12 kgs! I am comparing these two because both are carry on compliant
