I run into this just looking to learn what Unity was and I fell in love immediately with everything! I am not a developer but with this I want to learn ASAP
It's nice to see a tutorial with this level of explanation. What platforms can FX Graph can be used for? (ie. can it be used on mobile or is it GPU dependent?) Unfortunately the poor quality of the main window really reduces the value of this tutorial. It makes a huge difference to be able to read the screen text clearly.
„I think that‘s like fine arts right now“ That made me laugh. :D ,Just wanted to say Thank you! You guys did an amazing job putting this together. Very inspiring and fun to watch. Really appreciate it!
Thank you, can't wait to keep making this kind of content for you. Check out our other Let's Devs on youtube in the meantime. There's also a lot to learn in the Creator Spotlight series.
Very nice content, though I have to say that the video layout of the stream while creating the graph etc. was unfortunately too bad for this. It's more important to see everything going on in the editor, instead of having the panelists videos taking quite some part of the whole video. But beside that fact I think this kind of streams should continue. Thank you
This was great, feedback would be to focus the window of the topic. Was really hard to see and follow when the main window is at 50%, there is a lot of negative space
The structure of this video seems great but unfortunately it's unwatchable as nothing in the VFX Graph is readable due to the unity window being made small to make room for presenter graphics.
Trying to follow this, but its proving tough. I spent a while trying to figure out what was wrong with my view. But then I realized, the IDE was presented in 4K, condensed to only a portion of a 1080p feed. There is no way to see all the details going on. :( Is there a download somewhere of the full res? Or is this it? I'm going through this putting effort into trying to extrapolate things that were typed, nodes that were created, etc. Would love to find out there is a higher res download somewhere. :D
Is that a bluetooth headset Hassan is wearing? The lag is almost not there and it sounds pretty nice. Can you tell us what model you are using @Hasan Al Salman ?
Great to see what can be done. Unfortunately, as others have mentioned the layout of the screen makes most of this presentation hard to follow. Also one of them seems to think we want to watch his smoke effect and 3D printer. I don't want to burst your bubble, but were not here to see what you may consider to be cool. I couldn't help but cringe when he mentioned that chat had noticed his own effects that were happening. As far as the person actually creating the effects you did a great job. It's just a shame you couldn't present this on your own without the hey look at me idiot with you.
why most videos of your channel has awful representors? not showing their faces and showing the unity full screen , or not zooming in and do stuff off screen , im really annoyed with the quality of representation, shame that this powerfull app with high quality , represented by some newbies... even in unite 2023 videos ... still same issue
@3:35 "It just takes your project to the next level honestly...it's Unreal" I lol'ed
The Technical Artist, Codrin, is doing a fantastic job.
Been doing VFX for a while and still learned a couple tricks about VFX Graph I'd never noticed, like "Convert Output" :D
i saw you guys releasing the second part, so i found out about the first part and watched it first, great work all of you, learned a ton!

So happy that this inspired you! This is a fun place to start.
Full-speed ahead! Research is power.

Awesome job, can't wait to try some of this stuff out and I'm looking forward to the next episodes.

Thank you! This is really a great tutorial! Please continue it! We need content like this!
Thank you for this comment! It really encourages us to keep going.

Great feedback, I'll take it back to the team and try to work out a good solution for these kinds of streams.
@@TheHamlyFamily It could be worth it to try and increase the window scale to 125% or something similar.
Totally agree with this, no need for a large % of the screen to be a black box too..
WOW! What a episode !!!
I was Pretty waiting for it.
Hope Unity Will Bring More Vedios Like This 💚
Thanks My All Time Favorite Engine 💚
Thank you! More to come.
the presnetation and the questions also were very nice
Yoooo this is the content we need!!!!
Thanks for watching!
It’s still hard for me to believe there is a Unity VFX graph video not on the Unity Japan channel
Excellent! This will replace Netflix for the evening :D
Good choice! Do watch Squid Game though (Content warning!).

thx this really help, many tutorial out there showing fancy visual and other. But I thnk principle is more important so you can create your own thing
Yayyy

How about like making the graph full screen, hide the infinitely running super distracting effect and not using 25% of the screen for your faces?
Great work! Are you planning to make 2nd episode?
Great video, but the overlay is too obtrusive, blocking much of the screen. You can't quite tell what is going on in unity
When is the next episode gonna be released? Unity really needs to pump those kind of videos out to help the community learn their engine!
Man I wish this had been 1440P or greater :D

Despite these issues, this is awesome. Thank you so much for putting this on. Really looking forward to the next ones. :D
Very well done. Thank you.
Please! ending this work! It was very helpful!
Hoping to have episode 2 by the end of the year and episode 3 early next year.
@@TheHamlyFamily hope in you!!! ❤️
really a great tutorial! good job 👍👌
Thank you, I'm glad you think so.

Please increase the screen sharing area in the video
Thank you for the feedback.
I can't find in the asset store the post apocalyptic asset that is used in the final part of the video. Any help please?
Thanks
It's a bit hard to follow because the left part of the screen is cut out :

Please make another video on VFX Graph using Particle Strips
Where's episode 2?
It's UNREAL oops!
My eyes hurt
Unfortunately totally unreadable. Looks like it would have been really good. Perhaps a redo is in order??
