You definitely need to buy the sheath for it, it would look amazing
scabbard for swords but yeah it would look legit
@chrism7067 I was definitely wrong in this post but scabbard are usally made of wood or metal while sheaths are made of leather both used for swords, both have different use
That sheath effect is much cooler than expected lol
So here's a burning question that needs an answer and it may need to be put to a vote. There have been a lot of badass lightsabers in the Star Wars galaxy as well as impressively badass lightsaber wielders, but out of all of them (yes, this includes those of Darth Vader, Darth Maul and Count Dooku/Darth Tyranus, but those guys have been pushed further back on my personal list now) the verdict is narrowed down to two and I'm having trouble deciding myself so I figured that I would will let you guys help me out. My question is this:
Which saber do you guys think is more badass; the Darksaber or Ronin's katana-saber?
Personally, as much as I LOVE the Darksaber, I'm willing to go with Ronin's katana-saber on this one due to the Japanese inspiration (I have a thing for ancient Japanese arms and armor), and because he went from a Dark Lord of the Sith to Sith slaying anti hero and I think that's f*#%in' awesome. Well,...it may not be awesome in his war weary eyes, but it is in mine. I would love to hear your opinions too.
Yeah.. I got this pretty much straight away on preorder when paybay hit. Shame there wasn't a sheath, but that's fine. Tho, I would of preferred the activation bottom to be on the other side. More of a finger activation, than thumb. But that's me, maybe the twist on will be something to get us to. ^^

How solid is the hilt? And how's the weight balance with an average length blade? I've had a few UW sabers that had a wobbly construction, and they were very front heavy compared to something like a Sabertrio hilt.

I know that several saber UA-camrs will show up, such as you, as well as always believe and some others (darth koopa?). Id love to come meet you guys if I get the chance. Great lightsaber btw

N saber has a sheath
As someone who knows a lot about katanas I would just like to point out what a faulty design this katana is I mean, the blade is made of LED’s, foam, and clear plastic which in case you didnt know does not make a good blade. Final grade 1/10 in terms of practicality for cutting (this was a joke BTW however I just realized the activation switch is on the opposite side of the sticking up part of the tsuba which is not how that goes and now im annoyed)

ronins lightsaber never deactivates so i think just having it active normally before drawing it is fine.
He made his scabbard out of the light saber hilts of his fallen victims because it was busted and couldnt turn off.
I set my lightsaber ignition to 1400 and deactivate to 1400 and it did not work

Love your reviews as always ! My favorite Visions episode is "The village bride". Hope they'll make her hilt one day. I could have watch a full 1h30 movie from this story. If you enjoyed the Ronin there is a book based on this episode my GF offered me this as a gift. Can't wait to start reading it.
Scabbard will be made by Ultimate Works if sales go good for the hilt. Saw it on their demo vid for the saber.

@@SirJamesIGamerfuzion So i got the empty chassis and an asteria heart from the pach store but do you by any chance know what other components I need to install the heart? Apparently this is a common problem people have but I’m yet to find a solution
@@bloodmoon-ronin if you have the chassis all you need to get is the saber as a pre kit option as the pre kit would already have the components installed if it’s a empty saber I’m not really sure as I don’t buy empty

I'm warming to getting this hilt. I passed on the pre-sale, because of LIFE, but now, If they do an End of the Year or other sale, I may pick up the pre-kit version. I've 8 proffie hearts and 6 Asteria hearts, so being able to buy this without the need for a full install w/blade like other Saber Smiths require you to do really helps the finances.
Glad it doesn't take a custom chassis like some of their one-off hilts used to do. They've really set their place in the market.
Ok, Since UW/TPS is having a sale right now for Halloween (20% off with code TPSTREAT) I purchased this hilt and "The General" pre-kit hilts.
IT doesn’t actually ignite or deactivate because it’s always on that’s why the ronin uses a sheath it’s because it’s a broken saber (or crystal I forget) so it needs to be on
yeah thats what i posted too, the Ronin actually built his light saber scabbard with the hilt (handles) of his fallen enemies..
